Chorus:
Tonight, tonight the strip’s just right
I wanna blow 'em off in my first heat
Summer’s here and the time is right
For racin’ in the street

everytime I hear this version I think it´s the better one, and everytime I hear the other version I think that´s the better one!
A great version of a great song. Sung by a man who is angry at the injustice of the world; totally appropriate for the times we live in.
This guy deserves a Nobel prize for literature. 7 minutes and nothing more about the pain of human existence needs saying.
you don't even have to look up .. on the first note of this harmonica we know it's him! this is all his way! incomparable!! I love you so much 🥰🙌🎶🎸
C'mon man,it's a 69 chevy.
this version of Racing is the song I most want to hear live on the next tour (outside of the new stuff, of course). The energy and passion he puts into this performance is amazing.
The addition of the great David Lindley makes this version just that bit Special .
God bless David Lindley
Tonight, my Baby and me, are gonna ride to the sea and wash these sins off our hands. 😭🖤🎸🛞😎💯💯💯💯
Tired of wakin up in a world that somebody else owns….
Utterly glorious. RIP David LIndley. That interplay between he and Bruce in the outro is perfection
I love his half smile at the end. He knows that he and the band just crushed it.
That piano intro......................goosebumps
Love this version and performance. One of the best from this decade IMO.
Its not that this version isn’t good. It’s just that the original is pure perfection.
Wow.....wait why am I surprised this guy smacks you in the teeth everytime with endless classics like this. THE BOSS ALWAYS
Wow....David Lindley on violin....how great is that! Another legendary partnership with Bruce!
Summer nights in the throws of my youth. That's where this song always takes me back to.
Wonderful version ! He'll be the Boss till the end of times !
An absolutely gorgeous rendition of this classic known as the "78" version.
