My 2002 Chevy Silverado has the same issues, door lock buttons on the inside all work fine, but the moment I want to program the remote it doesn’t work. I removed the dash and saw the same part. I really hope it’s a simple swap.
Very simple. You might break the plastic clip that holds it down. I did that on all 4 from the junkyard no matter how careful I was. But it's fine. It's in the dash to unclip the old one, clip the new one and set it back in there. No problems since I've done the swap.
@@HumbleAuto I’m hoping it’s that simple, I removed an after market alarm system from my truck because it was giving me issues and when I went to program the remote it would program. I double checked all the oem wiring harness and everything is fine. So I’m hoping it’s the module. Thanks for the video, there’s no other videos on TH-cam covering this topic. It’s crazy.
😮Thanks for this information
