@Gettin dirty 4x4 Adventure thanks mate just needed to confirm that I got ripped off. My local "diesel expert" charged me 6hrs work at $150/hr to change my intercooler. Even then it wasn't done properly.
@@dropkick63 6hrs is a little much. Depends how your front end is though. Mine was half missing so was easy to get too. My old MN had a bumper so went in through the bottom grill plastic piece & removed the grill to remove the cooler out the top between the lights. That took me maybe an hour to do. Maybe another hour to remove all the hoses and inspect/clean out/reinstall but 6hrs though, not sure why it took them that long though.
@@dropkick63 That's for sure. One of the reasons I don't take my vehicles in to shops unless it's out of my experience and range of equipment. Once got charged $600 for an exhaust leak to be fixed and it was just the old system welded and painted.. wasn't happy.
Nice work mate Im impressed 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I'm no engineer but I go alright on the tools at times 🥴😉

How long did it take to install the intercooler?
15-20 minutes without filming

@@gettindirty4x4adventure I think he just saw me as an easy mark, there are no obstructions to it, just a matter of removing the front grill.
