What an A**hat of a construction worker..... did he think for a minute that the princess might have been looking forward to marrying a man of such high faith? Did he not wonder why a SULTAN was willing to give him a chance to marry his daughter if he could show great faith in Islam alone? Was there ever anything wrong with marrying that princess AND actually continuing to strengthen his faith to Allah??
I feel great empathy for the spurned princess instead. What the heck is wrong with this man??! His love for the princess and his love for Allah need not be mutually exclusive!

Marriage is half of the faith, he could have married her to save his eman, to lower his gaze and at the same time, keep performing Qayaam A-Layl. That was his choice frankly.
