That dog wasn't human aggressive because he didn't even try to bite the dude after he threw him. So that's good at least.
I was legit more upset about the dog getting accidentally kicked than the other stuff. And I hope both dogs were ok after getting on the fight.

Well my cat fell on stairs, never acted a fool on that banister again. The cat is most likely just shaken up, but now knows to never go on the railing. But if you don’t want to send your furry friend on the pathway to death, don’t be stupid.
Steve growing up some of the very best times we had was raking fall leaves into piles and jumping into them. You don’t rake the branches…just the leaves.

@@mariekastler5391 There should not be a limit when your irresponsible mess creates a death trap. Shouldn't have socks or the like on a banister at all anyways. The banister is to hold onto and to keep from falling. That does not just concern the cat.

I was in kindergarten and my older neighbour (by 4 years!) dated me to jump a pile of lanes my dad had burned the day before. I ended up in ER with burns to my heels. Couldn't wear shoes for 2 months!
Here in my home state of Delaware, in Old New Castle, the Calmar Nickel (probably spelled wrong) is a replica clipper ship where passengers actually work to run the ship as in history. Its pretty cool.

As a nurse I've told so many people "NEVER try to get in between a dog fight", even though I've had to go in twice myself for dog bites caused by.....well no points for guessing!

That was great! I thought the man in the hammock was going to flip off of the porch. Thank God that he merely fell on his butt.
We have a window at the top of our stairs overlooking the living room, it has a nice wrought iron safety grill, all curlicues for aesthetic reasons.
One of the dumbass cats who owns us made a habit of jumping into said window and balancing precariously trying to give me a heart attack. My better half found a piece of country art, basically a picture frame with chickenwire as the canvas and various doodads affixed to it, to deny him access.
He promptly cut his lip and nose colliding with the chickenwire.
BTW, while cats do usually land on their feet they can still manage to break themselves and/or what they hit upon landing. Plus ten out of ten times they will blame you for it and hold it against you for years.
(Thank you for your channel, you never fail to put a smile on my face. I worked in a hospital for years, just doing in-house security, and the irritating memories you have brought back. I always think "life could be worse, I could still be trying to help dumb MuFKRs.")

I got bopped on the head by a giraffe at a local zoo in Florida because of the scrunchie I was wearing in my hair. Apparently bright blue will attract giraffes lol! Thank goodness it was just a tap, at least from the giraffe’s perspective
4:00 Cat's will do what they want. Cat parents could make their (small indoor world) safer by removing slippery objects where their cat likes to hang out. How was it a good idea to record instead of helping your cat be safer. Maybe if there was nothing slippery then the cat would stop falling. They tend to know their limits when they can understand what is happening. smh
Dude, love your videos!! I'm a Paramedic Firefighter and worked in the ER for about 7 years in Florida. I got some stories for you if you want from the ER and some from the road. My background is I started fire and EMS in 1994 when I was a fire/ambulance cadet. Worked my way up getting my EMR, then EMT-Basic, Firefighter, EMT-Intermediate and then my Paramedic in 2004. The guy with the dog that is attacked is lucky. Dog fights get vicious and end messy so often.
We used to have a Corgi (RIP Junior) that would stand on the coffee table to make himself taller than our other dogs and he finally broke it one day while standing on it (not how he passed, he was fine from this, he passed of old age) but it was nothing like what happened with this table here, wow. I'm glad it seems all are OK.
Some of my best childhood memories involve grandma’s house, cousins, and a big pile of leaves

3:00 THIS IS WHY YOU PUT THEM ON A LEASH!!! If your dog is aggressive to cats, dogs, children, adults, or something else alive, it should be inside, on a leash, or in a fenced off area. If your dog is aggressive, it should also be recall trained though that doesn't apply in the situation.

Me too! Grew up in northern Michigan. I live in San Francisco now though and I’ve realized that people from the city are soooo different and skittish when it comes to things like that: jumping in leaf piles, letting kids play in the dirt outside, even just touching the grass and things like that. It’s wild to me because I grew up in the woods and loved playing outside as a kid.
I used to then realized there are a lot of bugs in there too, like slugs...

Yeah I’ve a Doberman mix that’s about 100 lbs with legs that are incredibly long. He’s actually taller than me (ok I’m only 5’2” but still) when he stands on 2 feet with other 2 feet on my shoulders. We look like dance partners lol

Hey Steve!!! You are the best. Literally. Could you make a 'tips from the er' on how do you deal with prisoner patients, and patients who are mute, deaf or blind who need translators.
Also patients who underwent domestic abuse or child abuse or trafficking and they end up in er. How do you tackle that?
It's an extremely rare case to find specially abled children without their parents in ER... These symptoms are developed from childhood and parents learn to sign or help their children from a small age... They have help from their family itself...
As of the abused, you will not find them in ER either... The abuser will not allow them to be treated that's rule 1... They have their own doctor or home treatment... Children from such circumstances learn to battle alone they don't trust ANYONE...

We grew up in the 60s and 70s jumping in piles of leaves.
I just turned 30 and tripped and fell a few weeks ago. Landed on my knees and elbows. Got away with just scrapes (through jacket and slacks), but do not recommend.
Honestly, the first time in my life I had a fall that bad without breaking a wrist (because I didn't land on them).
Gotta ask someone who has worked in the er what is the most common broken bone you have seen working in the er ?
Asking the wrong person. Ask an X-ray tech. Hands/fingers/wrists. Those are some little bones that people land on, punch with, dislocate, twist, definitely hands. It's a real bummer when someone tries to break a fall(forward or backwards) and they break both sides. They end up in two casts. They can't even wipe themselves. That must be a real bummer, asking a family member to wipe them.
