This is the kind of stuff that should be on the main TV channel. Im tired of seeing stupid reality TV shows, contest/game shows, and other garbage. I want real history back, I want to see the history shows that I grew up with as a kid. Bring back the old history channel.

I think the history channel has done an excellent job with this video. All too often I find Americans incapable of separating the the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001. Many people think we invaded Iraq in response to 9/11 which is far from the truth.

Adam 32 Absolutely. We toppled Sadam’s regime, which was once one of the largest armies in the world in two weeks. The Marine First Recon battalion covered the largest distance on the ground to date in marine corps history since the battle of Tripoli during the Barbary wars. We insured Iraq would no longer be able to fire scud missiles at Israel. We destroyed every battle tank in the Iraqi army yet only lost a single M1 Abrams battle tank in the process. The American invasion of Mesopotamia was a success.

This video however is targeted not to offend an army which came from far far away from the other side of the world over greed of the Iraqi and Kuwait massive soil reserves and wealth. Why isn’t it mentioned about the famous highway or death where huge number of retreating Iraqi convoys were caught off guard after promising them safe passage as part of the deal which was on February 26
