I've never been to such a good exhibition with so much awful art. RA has done a good job of delving into its history, but it's the contemporary replies that make this worth seeing.
100%, Matt. It had a rather strange feel, did it not but the contemporary works were so strong and, as you say, credit to the RA. I hope that you enjoyed the Auerbach exhibition btw.
