If anyone from America is wanting to make this meal, I just want to tell you that chili powder in the US isn’t the same as in Europe or other countries. In the US it is a TexMex blend of spices. In Europe it’s just powdered red hot pepper like cayenne. In this recipe it’s the latter.

No problem just cook the lamb in a pot, you will have to cook it for 60 to 90 mins though.

Yes you can, it will take much longer of course to cook the lamb. Maybe you would have to boil away for an hour or so.
Definitely.as mentioned, it will take a lot longer to cook.

As lamps quite fatty could skimming some fat out the cooked stock be possible? Would it lose flavour? Looks great btw!
