Lockdown is my all-time favorite villain in the transformers movies, and probably one of my all-time favorite villains ever haha. He was so cold and calculated, and though violent and ill-tempered he never really showed much anger up until the very end. He wasn't like the other decepticons. They were ruled through rage and anger, and he really didn't have that. I think that's what made him so dangerous.

Optimus Prime would always be awesome, people. Lockdown had so much going for him in the short amount of time we got to see him in Age Of Extinction, which many one movie villains can't say they've had the pleasure of having.

Sensing the impending danger - and recognising the one approaching - one of the villain's followers runs to him; crying out "My Liege! H-He's back... He's here!" And just as the dramatic thump kicks in, the original villain stomps through the throne room doors. The followed gasp, rising to their feet immediately, assuming a bow. Some are frozen in shock. He walks forward, a definite snarl on his face. The new villain looks terrified, he breathes heavily. His lies are about to become unravelled. "Y-You're still alive!?" "Yes. Being left for *dead* won't finish me off..."

Yeah I feel that. Its super epic seems to confuse the average (moviegower?) Leaves room for a half decent plot but sometimes Characters die off screen or weird changes happen from each movie or scene that don't quite make sense which honestly gets annoying. Like Barricade for example appearing in the first being defeated and then randomly appear 2 movies later in dotm. The big issue the movies have is consistency with Characters and the transformers themselves...
If you think about it Lockdown isn’t a villain, he’s just doing his job on his end. If he’s getting paid he’ll do it even if you’ve paid him in the past. He’s just a bounty hunter he doesn’t choose sides

For all it's faults, AOE definitely set up something great, yet Last knight shat the bed. (Yes I'm still pissed about them cutting out Prime and Meg's coliseum battle in the pits of Kaon)
I think we could the plot hole of the movie and that is the transmonium so we can assume that the creators made the bodies of transformer and the allspark gave them life
I feel like this theme would have been great for Shockwave, (this would be if optimus didnt kill shockwave in dotm) after the death of megatron he would have decided that he could do better no longer under the leadership of megatron, he would have manipulated the humans to attack autobots, collected parts to test and use their parts, collecting sparks to power his machines, he knew he cant use the matrix himself so he wanted to use prime as a vessel to get the power of the matrix. He might have even abandond cybertron and decided to just make earth the new cybertron, or to destroy earth because it is Unicron

Age of extinction has a lot of things wrong with it but i still have a soft spot for it. i like the new designs, locations and of course lockdown.

Lockdown was such a cool character… a cold, merciless villain that was very different from the theatrical, mighty megatron. Lockdown was plain scary
