    What you should have done is left the Bundle pieces (sections, rules, etc.) in those projects, and then removed the old ones that aren't synced to the bundle. That way, in the future, when you update the bundle, it would have updated all those projects too (if you wanted). Instead of piece-mealing it, you should have let the entire project rely on the bundle, so that future projects can us the full bundle too, instead of a half-baked bundle. The whole benefit of a bundle is so that you can make bulk-changes to any projects that are synced to it in the future too.

As of now, you can only: *- Star Projects, portfolios and forms* to add them to the Starred section for easy access. *- Reorder Starred Items:* Drag and drop to rearrange starred projects as desired. *- Manage Team Projects:* Click on a team name to access its overview and reorder projects there; this affects all team members. *- Collapse Sections* to reduce clutter in the sidebar. *- Resize Sidebar:* Adjust the sidebar width by dragging its edge for better visibility. What would you like to organize there?

    Helpful video! What do you do with tasks that didn't get completed in the sprint? Is there an option to assign a task to multiple sprints? Also, is there a way to see a burn-down chart of the current sprint?

    • @MarquisMurray
      @MarquisMurray 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You could update the sprint custom field to show that the task is in two sprints. There are no burndown charts in Asana yet, but you could create a report for tasks completed vs incomplete with a due date in the next 5-7 days. That would be the closest we could get for now.

That being said - during the capacity plan section, I wasn't able to duplicate your result of seeing the project owners when you added the portfolio of projects. Adding the portfolio of projects, that worked. But the people who created them? I think I am missing something. Do they have to be assigned the role of "Project Owner"?

      With the marketing calendar as the hub that collects all marketing channels, your editorial calendar would feed into it, displaying all of your relevant post dates.

    That's great man. I think this type of content and possibly interviews on entrepreneurship will broaden your audience in addition to your software specific conten. I know you were asking about that in a previous video. Think channels like Ali Abdul who started with med school prep and now is huge in entrepreneurship. Keep up the great work!

      Thank you so much for your encouraging words, Joshua. You're right, mixing in entrepreneurship content could definitely help broaden the audience. I’ll keep that in mind as I plan future videos!

    love it! is there a way to copy paste a rule so i can change parts of it? im finding i have to build the rule from scratch each time

      Hey, that would be awesome! But unfortunately, that's not possible in Asana yet. If you want to apply the same rule to multiple projects, you should create a Bundle and add it to all the projects you want.

    Hey Marquis, amazing webinar. I recently joined a company that has asana. It does require a lot of work to set up and keep it, but it pays off. Can you share your thoughts on this trade offs and best practices on how to drive usage and maintenance?

      Thanks for sharing your experience! Setting up Asana can indeed be a bit of work, but the benefits are worth it. Here are some * best practices* to enhance usage and maintenance: *- Clear Guidelines:* Establish naming conventions and task assignment rules for consistency. *- Recurring Tasks:* Automate ongoing tasks to ensure nothing is overlooked. *- Organize Tasks:* Use sections and custom fields to prioritize and categorize work. *- Utilize My Tasks:* Encourage team members to track their responsibilities in one view. *- Regular Check-ins:* Schedule reviews to clean up old projects and tasks. *- Training and Support:* Provide training and designate "Asana champions" for assistance. *- Integrate with Tools:* Connect Asana with other tools (e.g., Slack, Google Drive) for streamlined workflows. Additionally, I recommend checking out our video about *The Most Common Asana Mistakes To Avoid* for more insights: th-cam.com/video/e_ZfheZ4oIc/w-d-xo.html
