"People get ready" Normal is not coming back, Jesus Christ Is.
The world is going insane. Calling good - evil and evil - good.
Jesus Christ is our only hope. Our Living hope!
No religion needed. Just faith, faith plus nothing.
"You don't need no ticket; you just thank the Lord."

I had to watch about a half dozen of your videos before I realized that your channel is among the very best of those trying to teach guitar. You cut through a lot of clutter to get to very practical insights. I've been playing for more years than you've been around and have mastered a few things. But pretty much every one of your lessons hips me to something that I had overlooked. And often it's something that was really pretty obvious, at least in retrospect. Well done. I like how you don't try to dazzle us viewers with technique. You're not trying to win a shredding contest. You're just offering to show us some useful things that you've figured out.

I've learned over time when Brian says I should be having a light bulb moment he's always right. If I haven't had it... I rewind the vid and watch it again until I wrap my head around what he's on about. He's not been wrong yet... a veritable plethora of light bulb moments. Thanks Brian... brilliant stuff!

I just want to say this is some of the most soulful playing I've heard in quite sometime. I grew up listening and playing this type of music. I play bass and in the 60's I use to play stuff like this from Muscle Shoals, Motown, etc...Brings back a lot of fine memories. Great teacher, plays from the heart and teaches from the soul. I have been trying to pick up the guitar lately and found this sight. What a treasure trove of grooves and licks I have found. Keep up the fine teaching!!!

great tutorial. I really appreciate you giving the reference to the CAGED System. 2 things: While playing the F-chord you might want to add that this voicing is the C-shape in reference to the CAGED -System. and that the A-minor is an E-Shape.

Your lessons and teaching style are fabulous, thanks! One nitpick from this video - when you play the Am at the 8th fret, it's very misleading to call it the D7 shape. It is simply the Dm shape moved up from the first fret (you can stress that it is a second string root, just like the movable D Major shape).
