You know what I find funny? People regarding the Switch as an inferior console despite it being a handheld and emulating what the bigger consoles can do without missing out on content. Remember, people hold Gameboy Advance at a very high regard despite it not being too different from SNES in terms of graphics, and that was when we had PS2 and PSP.
That's because zoomers lose their minds if they don't see soulless AAA slop with flashy pixels rather than anything of actual quality.

It's just depressing to read threads comparing wattage and relative game performances when the devs honestly probably just did a good/bad job of optimizing certain games for certain consoles
Pretty sure people wouldn't be as hard on it if Nintendo wasn't still selling it at the same price of a console that's 2 generations stronger than it.

By the time the PSP had come out the DS was already on the market with far better visuals than the GBA in terms of 3D. PSP was no slouch in sales and did sell slightly under the GBA in total worldwide. But even as a handheld the Switch is quite weak with it being far behind both smartphones and PC based handhelds
The dropoff from PS4 to seitch isn't even that bad, I think the Switch version looks fine.

Honestamente el juego se ve y va super bien en swicth, el fondo seria lo que mas pierde viéndose borroso pero poder tenerlo en portatil me parece un sacrificio necesario
Solo en porttil por la pantalla chiquita va bien, aunque te lo venden bien caro por la porqueria de version que es en comparacion a los otros sistemas, aun asi esta decente.
Ya si lo conectas en una tele que no sea de mas de 30 pulgadas por que no se mira como meet de oaxaca.

Es increíble que una consola tan práctica y pequeña como el Swich pueda cargar un juego tan detallado. Me quedo con el Swich por su practicidad.

Oled Switch is for me 😅…i can play this beautiful dbz game while travelling and in my bed ❤…while playing u won’t notice this much depth graphics…switch best rpg game is kakarot …waiting for db super dlc black Goku & tournament ❤

@@randalthor6872If you have good connection, a tablet and don't take the switch outside, you could use steam link. Best thing about the PC version is the mods if you're into that sort of stuff. It also runs smoothly at 60fps though the switch port is pretty good too. I have my main save on that one.
I have high end PC and OLED Switch. Got this for switch. Worth every penny (got it discounted for like 15 bucks)
And you wouldn't notice much of a difference anyways on the small screen of the switch

For how fun kakarot was for me on my ps5 if I only had a switch and going off this comparison id buy it still. Surprisingly stable and still looks good enough on switch. Main difference i noticed was the switch version appears to be lacking the super saiyan god dlcs

@@Kris-nw1xz On the online store it only says the title of the game +a new power awakens. If you read the Nintendo online description it only clearly states it has the future trunks dlc. In general the description for kakarot is very vague as to what you are getting in the descriptions

Love this game, i must say games such as this lend itself very well on a small screen of the switch. Sure, docked on tv youll see a big difference but on the road/holiday having this on the go is awesome
Igual a pesar de todos los comentarios negativos hacia la nintendo switch, el principal objetivo no es entregar resoluciones altisimas o buenos fps, solo es ser portable. Lograr jugar este tipo de juegos fuera de tu casa. 🤷♂️

@@baekuicab1616 pueeees, la PS5 en todo ambito es mucho mas cara(control, juegos) y ps claro sino tienes TV tambien debes cotizarlo.
La switch tienes un catalogo mas reducido y claro menos rendimiento, ejemplo no esperes jugar un COD en switch. Sino que jugaras en su mayoria plataformas. A mi parecer tienes que saber que tipo de publico eres.
Si no te gusta mario ni pokemon mejor vete por la ps5, es lo unico fuerte de nintendo.

en ciertos casos, la baja resolución de la switch ayuda a disfrazar ciertos detalles de los fondos (como lo son los arboles por ejemplo, las texturas planas se aprecian mas en Ps5, lo que rompe un poco la ilusión)

What matters more to me are the FPS. As an old school late 90s born, i m not picky about graphics. Performance should be as perfect as its meant to be

Edit: Honestly,The devs could have done better job with textures they seem really muddy and blurry.

The switch have 4Gb of low shared memory, the f you expected. We need a proper switch successor at this point

in this kind of videos, I always get more impressed in how well switch version holds up (with some exceptions) than how good the next gen version looks

Unfair comparison since the switch quality is 720p, ps4 1080p and ps5 4k this means that there will be a difference in quality, but that's just my opinion

Maybe switch isn't as bad as the narrative has made it out to be. I'm actually pretty surprised myself. Normally you see switch as a "joke" console but this really shows that that isn't the case it can actually hold its own against the big boys and run pretty well too.

The game is capped at 60, that’s why it doesn’t go any higher. The game is really stable so I’m willing to bet that the game could hit much higher frame rates if the frame rate cap was unlocked

I really hate how it looks on PS5. I would like the Switch Version in 1080p and less loading time. Less is more. The PS5 version is just ugly and the PS4 version okay. The Switch just needs 1080p and it would be perfect. It has less unnecessary effects. And the 60fps on PS5 makes it even worse.

La versión que comparas entre PS5 y switch no es la versión nativa de PS5, si con PS4 hay diferencia contra la de switch es aún más grande esa diferencia, sin duda las versiones de switch son las peores del mercado en juegos multiconsolas, y más aún si las ponemos cara a cara con las de PS5

@@rstaaryan436 actually it was. Gamecube was more powerful than the ps2, in fact ps2 was the weakest console of it’s generation. N64 was more powerful than ps1 in terms of raw power but I think ps1 did a lot more things better in terms of the hardware, not sure.
