I bought an anvil and forge just to make these. Best all around tool in the history of mankind.

I tried to forge it but it keeps in breaking tge edge..
Pliss forge to see how..
one of the problems with using a file is the entire piece is already hardened, meaning the material is brittle, doesnt mean you cant soften the metal out, but if you are just forging the edge on the file without heating the whole thing it's going to be a brittle knife. hope this helps.
@@ursor234 yes i heated the whole piece,,, i actually happy it went good to far.. but when i grind it.. i see the edge brittle..

I have a knife that looks a lot like that one, from Thailand. Not easy to sharpen with a carborundum whetstone. . I use a daimond shapener.
