I have one at home in Texas and bought one to have at my brother-in-laws house in California. Can't be without it! I've had mine for about 5 years.

I suggest you coat thin layer of high temp oil inside and outside to extended the life of the grill. The cheap stainless steel parts do rust after few years. This model had discontinue since 2018. It will be hard to find in the future.

@@rickchavez5693 I add a thermometer ($10) and grease collect tray that fit right inside the basket. It has working great. I have many grills over the year. This is the easiest and best over all grill for the small family. I will try to cook brisket around 225F in the near future.

How do you regulate the temperature? Tried to smoke a pork shoulder but couldn't ever keep it at a constant temperature.

I do a pork shoulder or brisket the same way. Get it to high till wood pellets start to smoke. Drop shoulder or brisket in already seasoned in the basket. Drop to low. 3 hours. I open every hour and dpray apple juice on. Replace pellets every hour. After 3 hours I remove and put In oven safe pot with apple cider or juice. Cover tight with aluminium foil. 300 for 3 more hours. Don't check touch or mess with till its all done cooking.

We are doing thanks giving turkey this year. Any tips you can give like how many pound bird is acceptable?

i think 25 is the biggest you can do but i try to stick with a 20 pound bird. i use Montreal steak seasoning lightly sprinkled on it. tastes amazing. i would do a test turkey before i did the thanksgiving turkey. it is easy to over cook or under cook. i use wood pellet they last longer. about an hour per load. doesn't matter what one you use they are all good. when you start put on high till the smoke rolls then put in turkey and bring temp down to just under a quarter. i think 20 pound turkey is 2hours 30 min but my elevation is 4 feet above sea level so it may be different for you. i found that cold weather drastically increases cooking time. make sure if your using the grill to take the basket out. heat burns it up eventually. also don't try to make gravy with the drippings. it is awfully strong lol. i use the juices from cutting up the turkey in my gravy. i even just add it to store bought gravy . easy and tasty. once you figure out the turkey your turkey will be a hit. every year we get together with the neighbors and family's. big group. everyone asks me to do the turkey. super easy for me.
