Thanks for the guide. I was struggling and almost gave up. After watching that video I came to the conclusion that sailing is bad and I am going to become a farmer instead.
Used to be pretty good guide but not anymore, ramming makes your boat take a massive amount of damage atm. It's better now to go for improved epheria sailboat (fairly easy to get) to be able to use cannons from the driving position.
Ok, it's misleading to say in your video all you need to do is buy green ship parts but then you have a blue cannon. The blue cannon makes a HUGE difference in clear speed and makes it possible to kill Candi's, which is where the real money is.
Wow I didnt realize, until i looked it up that cannon's can affect your ramming skill damage. My bad. I don't play the game anymore, but you can still solo any of the monsters with all green gear. Its all in the technique, I was in BDO Navy's Discord and they showed me a few tips and tricks to avoid some of the damage when facing the candi's. weird part this whole idea of "Sea Monster Farming" >.> i thought it was a common knowledge, my guild we small guild had only like 10 people and our leader/co-leader had highest Sailing in the game, and we did alot of monster farming, especially guild sea monster farming. Now 1+ year later, i feel like community has finally caught up and it killed the market but we just used it the money to max out the guild, get blue equips on are guild ships, and get elphants/gear etc etc lol.
This will be a hard feedback for you. (i read you dont play anymore^^) To tell the true is video isnt good. Its just good for getting an idea about how it works. Not more. I wont post good yt links bcs thats not a cool thing to do. There are so many missing parts.. and just imagening someone takes it serious about "you are good killing 2 or 3 monsters per run" Wow x.x thats not good at all Never take canonballs with you x.x you cant use travlers map and remote collect your ship to port rat bcs of the canonballs. For ghostships, just go char select and log in again xD the ship is gone and the hp of the seamonster wont reset. And much much more about how to kill them, just ramming and waiting for it to turn his back to you is wasting much time x.x Wow i wrote more then i wanted x.x in short, i think its just a good video for getting the idea. To be honest this was one of my first howto videos and made it in one night. Again thanks for the feedback I’m surprised by all the views it had regardless of how shitty it is. Btw BDO is basically a game of gambling and spending real money and time consuming to play. Quit while you still can. Better games out there.
