Tinna, I got this pattern and then had to sit on it for a time.there are horizontal seams…I couldn’t figure out how they got there. And the vertical lines made seams…they made sense but the repeats? So this morning I made a foundation row 4X16, plus 9 stitches and the additional turning chain. It’s making sense! The colors are ridiculously dumb but it’s suppose to be a test. I found my mojo! I found out how easy this pattern is. It simply takes time. One suggestion I have for folks working a flat panel that are super tight crocheters. Make the original foundation on a hook 1/2-1 size larger than what you are planning on using. By the time you are finished with the second foundation row you’ll never see any gaps. The work will look like it should. Thank you so much for making these in chart forms. Charts make so much sense to me.
I began crocheting over 45 yrs ago, I left this therapeutic hobbie, did life/family, I didn't realize at that time, I could do both?? I'm back, engaging in this art and I'm having a ball, I've fallen in love with this same craft twice. I stumbled upon your gorgeous, GOD gifted work, your craft is amazing!!!! I never subscribe to others channel, but your work is exceptional. I have some plans for myself with this lovely tapestry, it's folks like you darling, that remind me that this gift is an absolute infinite masterpiece!!!!! Thank you for sharing your outstanding art!!!!!!!!!
I live in Scotland, and when I saw the thumb nail of this video I said, wow it's tartan! I loved it. I can't wait to start doing my own tartan scarf. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!

I just bought this pattern and I can't wait to get started! You are such a creative person, and thank you very much for putting these videos up here! I have come to realise that I am more of a visual learner, so these tutorials are great, while the written pattern usually does not make too much sense to me. However the written pattern for the Coorie seams quite doable, even for a beginner like me. 😄
Looking forward to the mosaic alphabet tutorial. I just bought the pattern from you, which is helpful, but it will be my first experience with the FP technique
I have always wanted to attempt a tartan pattern, but it seemed so cumbersome. The way you have designed this makes it so easy to achieve the tartan look and it is absolutely beautiful 😍. It's so much fun to work this pattern and I'm all for fun and simple. I just purchased this, and I adore it. The pattern is very easy to understand. Thank you so much for this lovely pattern🤗

Thankyou for this tutorial video. I’m teaching myself mosaic at the moment and writing notes. I found a note I don’t understand though in a pattern I’m doing. It’s fldc2d. I know it’s saying front loop double crochet. But what does the 2d mean? Thankyou.

Takk fyrir þessi flottu vídeó :)
Hi Tinna, I perched 3 patterns but am I missing how much yarn I need to buy? On the Montana pattern I only received the charts. can you help this rock(me). thanks
Really Tinna? Really!!! First of all I just found you exist. I immediately jumped into the Fiesta that I know will be a labor of love, now you post this beauty. You think all I have in life to do is fall in love with your patterns?? Uggghh fine, is this available for purchase yet? Haha
I’m currently working a pattern for a wall hanging that I did not want the gaps created by the front loop double crochet. I didn’t have the benefit of your video, however, I did your method and decided I didn’t like it enough because the stitch was too lumpy. What I am doing is what I call a front post extended half double crochet. You probably can understand what that is without explanation but I will explain. Yarn over and put the hook through and under the stitch - the same so far. Yarn over pull through only one loop-this is the extended part of the stitch. Yarn over pull through the remaining 3 loops-this is the half double crochet. It is slimmer and tighter than the version in the video and I find it to be a good height as well. Now, to be honest, perhaps it is not perfect for the scarf. I am working with medium weight yarn, a size 4, and a 5mm hook. The work is very tight, dense, and curls a lot-much more than the usual mosaic. It is fine for what I am doing, a wall hanging that will be supported by a wooden frame, but I don’t really recommend it for anything else. Perhaps a bigger hook, but again, honestly, 5mm is as big as I am comfort holding. This is the reason I use lighter weight yarns, usually.
I have seen other mosaic crochet where they don't end each row they repeat it back to the beginning and where the DC is going to come down use chains. Have you seen this method? If so that is your opinion on it? I just found this style of crochet ansmd am eager to try it but can't decide which way I want to try.

Check out my Havana cal video to see! Also, I just uploaded a new video showing how you can use those tails to make a twisted fringe, which is a lovely finish! 😘

I’m currently working a pattern for a wall hanging that I did not want the gaps created by the front loop double crochet.
