Genius move! Putting the camera through the crusher added an extra dimension of realism.
A rock knocked it loose, he got lucky it survived.
Hey mate, here are some ideas from a mining consultant.
1. Move the crusher as close to the quarry as possible. Less transport results directly to much more productivity.
2. Burry the crusher and build a ramp so that the dump truck or a wheel loader can directly feed the crusher. One maschine operation less.
3. Elongated the belt conveyor. They are the cheapest way to transport materials. Also idlers (you called them rollers) are coming with lifetime lubricant. They are meant to be replaced. Yours are worn out. Forget the lubrication with the spray can. Get a few decent ones and they will last for 100 000h.
Never forget your job is processing not transport not maintenance.
Very valid points.
He clearly could do those things but has not chosen them. Replacing things that still work tho not optimally like the idlers/rollers would be a waste of money and time. The same goes for the conveyor, where you'd need to look how much fuel and time it would save him and how long it would take to get to spend money back by the saving. Also he explained it in the video why he has not moved the crusher closer.
I love the munching sound that crusher makes…. Munch, munch, munch.. I’m hungry lol
Using a self-built stone crusher plant showcases impressive ingenuity and dedication. It must be incredibly rewarding to see it in action, crushing stones effectively. Kudos on such a fantastic DIY project!
The close filming you do is just as good as any studio made film, except, it’s real life. The danger is there, your thinking processes, goals, methods. Brother, a two hour video of your work is always worth watching. Like your last well build. There were many separate tasks, methods, trial and error, to get to the goal. It’s fantastic for an old man to witness, and close up! I don’t care how long you film. I ain’t getting out in this snow this winter. I’ll have coffee in my warm house and watch you grind and cheer you on the whole time. You’re better than any sportsball I’ve ever seen. You build, you make it happen, you’re reality.
You make the best DIY videos on TH-cam. The rock crusher works great, even the bigger rocks aren't a match. Thanks for making these videos, I know how much work they are to create.
Love these long format videos, even the 3 hour one was amazing, thanks for posting them
Finally a rockcrushing video. Always fun to see you work with that thing :D
Keep those long videos coming brother! They are so enjoyable to watch.
Damm im eating at 3 am alone and this is the perfect vedeo just to chill and watch
You make the best videos !
And thank you for not using background music.
It's amazing how much work one man can do given the right equipment. That crusher has a good appetite.
YEAH
Imagine back in the day the workforce that would have been equipped with sledgehammers to turn all those big rocks into those smaller rocks... insane
Yeah, only half a million dollars in used equipment! 😰🤣

You are amazing when making videos, the editing is very smooth... Without adding music, the audience can feel the sound of the instruments.
You're the Swedish Camarata. With respect.
Lilmissdangerous2267
Camarata is the american Bjornstrom. This guy smiles too. Now he needs to go without shirt,😊
This business is for young men who are very strong and smart.
Love the channel, your English is fantastic 👍
GoPro. Takes a crushing and keeps on mushing....no wait. I love this channel.
Innovative and fun to watch. The world needs more industrious entrepreneurs like you. Take part of a day off from your crushing work and make yourself some guards for the belt and the rotating drums/pulleys. We always think we are going to work safe and too often we don’t take time to install basic safety guards. If it prevents one injury to you or someone else it will be well worth the time it takes you.
Best use of a mercedes ever! I knew they had to be good for something.
In the old days, we used to use wood cable reels to hold up the conveyors. Great video! Brought back memories.
I'm glad your camera survived its ride through the crusher!
It got lucky and fell trough the jaws. The housing got bent, and it cracked up the display. But other than that it worked fine.
@@M.BJOERNSTROEM What kind of camera is it you are using?

From the closing shot of the manufacturing video from a year ago - to the opening shot of this video has not gone unnoticed!! Superb as always!
Another great video but you forgot to grease the windscreen wipers on the A class 😅
Crushed it with this one ... groan! .... never thought I'd find 43 minutes of crushing rocks so watchable ... keep up the great content.
I could watch it all the time and with the sound it's great 👍.
Great way to get your rocks off
Watched so long I got stoned
I could keep going with the gravel jokes but the cracks start to show
12 minutes ago!!
You're second only to Primitive Technology for channels I'll drop everything to watch
You will like Andrew Camarata also.
I checked him out, but he's nowhere near as chill. I'll watched LetsDig18 off and on though@@MrPhotodoc
Sometimes I feel like I've been through a rock crusher. Now is one of those times 😀
I do every time after 10+ budweiser's. Now is one of those times :D
I have to admit, I never knew Mercedes made conveyor belt bases? It's nice they have those safety features of a hand brake and a transmission to put in gear.
The best use of the A-Class I've seen ever. 👌
The falling go-pro was great! This would be a fun project to take a vacation from work to come and help out on!
Hey Dude I started watching your videos starting at...."Working Multiple positions in a small Airport" and was amazed how ONE Guy can do so much and have been hooked watching most of your videos since. This video was interesting to watch, just to admire the beautiful landscape and the enginuity of your project. Keep on bringing us this GREAT stuff, very much appreciated.
19:52 Pure asmr 😀
Looks more like a 2min music video! Such a gem! Start @ 21:05
Absolutely LOVE these videos. Thanks soooooo much for going to the effort to produce and post them.
Regards Mark in the UK
Keep doing what you do! Ppl are always going to think they know better than all I guess it’s just a TH-cam mentality unfortunately.
You make great content and work with what you have like the rest of us in the real world. I personally enjoy seeing someone do things differently than I bc I am always looking to learn a new trick or two.
Happy Holidays
13:35 Strongly recommend not swinging bucket over hydrolic trailer. Rouge rock will make you angry stop all production.
Add a trammel like they use in gold mining to sort
Nobody gonna mention the Umbrella Corp truck? What kind of fishy business is this rock crushing thing?!
😂👍
Installing the toggle plate is hard to do for one person....but you got it. Well done!
We need more videos please!!!!
I like your video's and the use of the Mercedes to support your chrusher!!!
Just a mini video today...love the 1hr+ videos. Das german engineering leaving 😢😅.cant wait for the snow crusher update...
I must say that the subjective view of the camera in the crusher is unique!!!
Congratulations now we know what it feels like to end up in it!!!
No, we see what its like to go trough it, but even that is understatement. That jaw does absolutely give two fucks if you are there between, ground up with the rocks or not. It does not even notice such thing but it wont be quick end, but slowly getting your arm or leg mulched into pulp along the rocks that are holding you in there.. on the plus side you are probably going to shock before its more than knee deep and die from blood loss in few minutes, so thats kinda upside of this, but who ever will find you will be scarred to life... so yeah guys dont fuck around and find out with machines like this. Just the setup he has gave me chills and i would not go anywhere near that setup.
@@Hellsong89just don't take a stroll through the crusher and you'll be fine
I think it's so funny you've used your old "Moose Killer" as the conveyor support ... (that's all a '97 MB A-Class is good for ...)
Good work, and smart to not go under the plate.
Very Interesting how one man can do so much with right equipment. I am so enjoyable to watch.
Found your channel this week. Excellent quality builds and video.
Another good video!
Even when things go wrong, you remain calm and keep on trying to get things back together.
Couple of Questions:
1). You plan to show some of the places you moving the crushed stone too?
You show getting stone, crushing stone, but have not shown where it eventually ends up!
2). The conveyor belt rollers all appeared frozen and you had to spend some time to getting them to move again. Is there a way to cover them or protect them so you do not have to spend so much time freeing them up?
3). After it broke, how much effort did it take to partially repair? Seemed it took more time to relocating everything simply to get to were the parts had disappeared too!
Love your videos! 🤪
1.The rock i was crushing here ended up in this video th-cam.com/video/M-CdNtWDRGU/w-d-xo.html (27minutes in).
2.The bearings that seize are worn out, and need to be replaced.
3. Around 7 days of procrastination and 6 hours of work.
Thanks!
@@M.BJOERNSTROEMit's a shame that procrastination can't be a part of the quote 😂😂
@@M.BJOERNSTROEM you do know (as the old saying goes)that “procrastination is the thief of time” 😀.I love that crusher. All the best from England.
I always wish you had somebody there to help you.
I have to say you’re amazing. I watched from start to finish. You’re like a Lego Master but with steel. You have a gift. Loved watching you🦊🦊🦊
Love you and your videos. Keep up the good work.
I think its safe to say you can replace just the bearings if the rollers are in good shape.
Sounds like he is getting a bigger conveyer
Ahhhhh.......youth!
Spent mine. A long time ago.
Doing pretty much the same kind of thing. Less tech and access to civilization, but similar grit and innovation.
Now I got the back, scars, and memories such a life provided.
I sure hope yours will be at least as good, hopefully better!!🙂
The Gopro that survived the rockchruser! 😁👍
You are wise not to attempt to descend a steep incline in the middle of winter with that weight behind you to control.
Just use the Bull dozer from the airport it's so big easy peacy.
@@arjanvogel6444 what bulldozer?
Is shaking the bucket sifter worth all the extra wear on the excavator?
No it's not. Would be nice mounting a vibrator on that
Cool to see it up and running!
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼………………………………………………………………………….It’s amazing how fast a person can move when there’s a catastrophic failure imminent!! LOL You could really use a ratchet strap sponsor and it’s always good to see the “ Umbrella Corporation “ truck in action. LOL
Great guy. I really enjoy the content he provides in every aspect 👏🏼
Never too long!!
I don't know why but I got very nervous when the camera dropped 😂
Jjnn
Interesting to see how your content is extremely similar to the original works of Andrew Camarata. Or is it the other way around Or is it coincidental?
This gentleman is the European version of Andrew.
Both very unique individuals.
Yoi can change just the bearings on the conveyor roller, if you catch it in time. We usually just change out the rollers since most of the time we don't catch them in time and wear a flat spot on the roller.
Alright, need to do that. Got a few bad ones.
do the bearings last at all in this environment? maybe it doesn't matter if the conveyor is not used all day every day
@Arnthorg some last forever, and some seem to go bad quickly.
The bearings on his rollers are sealed and maintenence free. This keeps the dust and grime out, but if the seal gets damaged and allows rock dust in, then it goes bad quickly
You've got a brilliant mind, always look forward to your videos. You always figure out a way to get it done. Snow looks beautiful, even though you said it's early. Keep up the good work man.👍
Awesome videos. Great content and editing. Make me think I’m behind the camera. Brilliant work.
If you move the chrusher, just hook the hydraulic legs to the tractor and if it starts to go, lower the legs and then it will stop.
Sounds like your kids eating cereal on a Saturday Morning when you have a hangover!
Can't wait for your next video.
I like the crusher, you can keep the snow
One last suggestion for now lol you can always add a vibration motor on the back of your hopper instead of tiping it .
Will do something like that
9:33 This man is thorough.
That Mercedes does a really good job
Love the name on the front of the red and white truck... "Umbrella Corporation" LOL. 🤣
3 plus hours perfect! video 😀 Looking forwards to next video! Great work!
Your videos are very good!!!!
Muito bom seus vídeos!!!!
Assistindo do Brasil.
Watching from Brazil.
Just had to laugh at the sound when you threw the first rocks in. It actually sounded like the machine was eating the rocks!
One happy man right there
It would be cool if you had a nearby source of cheap crushed rock to put under that machine to make a stable base :)
Very cool set up, no idea why you are doing it, but it is still very cool.
Your videos/shows are really great.. The content is spot on with camera work that makes us viewers feel like we're there... You live and work in a really awesome place... Thanks for taking us on an 😎 ride-along..👍
i love watching what you do. it would be ideal once the crusher is set up to make it move to each location where you find rocks. it must cost a fair amount in diesel to move the rocks around
that wedge under the conveyor is better at being a wedge than it is at being a car lol
I always wondered what a ride through a rock crusher would be like!😂😂😂
only thing missing was a can of hot dogs!
Need to include them next time
plz no music, it's so calmful to listen crusher work
I like the umbrella corporation sticker on your truck that’s funny
nice to see some prep maintenence done b4 useing the machine
That is a game changing bucket.
I remember, years ago, I sold a 36X48 Pioneer jaw crusher that went to the Caribbean and it came from the Durham, NC area. I saw a Caterpillar 35 ton dump truck dump its load, and the crusher never even hiccuped! There ws so much inertia in the flywheels, they shut it off 1/2 hour before quitting time and the thing just kept crushing rock. What a beast!
This is pretty cool. Im a caterpillar technician and work at a lot of rock quarries and small crushing outfits. Crushing fascinates me and I stumbled on this video. Pretty cool one man operation.
There is something addictive about watching a crusher pulverise rock
Suggestion find another convayor you can adapt to move as needed build a pile move the convayor on a power a few feet and start again save you from moving the excavator back and forth . So just to clearify the main convayor drops in to the extention convayor that can move as needed on its own power . You could end up with a nice stock pile in no time . Awesome video .
A small 15 meter (50') radial stacker would work really well.
He said he bought another conveyor
Biltema 💪😅 Der jobber jeg.
Fed video, maskiner, og redneck metoder 😂
Hilsen fra Danmark
I hope your ok m8, not seen a new video from you for around a month, miss you content, hope you had a great christmas and have a happy new year.
Can't wait for your next video!!
You are a swedish version of A.Camarata. cheers from Poland. I love that kinda works as well.
So maybe I missed it ...but what is the end goal of crushing the rocks, besides the fact that its fun. I mean what is the rock going to be used for ?
He's used it as the rock fill around culvert pipes
land/road improvement, you should know from his other videos it gets real muddy out there.
Andrew Camatra has a gravel sort spinner on his skid steer & 1 for his excavator 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
I like your video's, just improve your sound quality. Especially when you're talking, it would be nice to hear what you say. Thanks!
hi seeing you build a lot of thing why not dig a slop pit 45 deg near the crusher using timber logs for bottom and slide that run onto a loading belt to drop into crusher table then self load via shacking movement save tip and reloading from ground PS steel pit would be lots of $$$$$
Lmao "sir you can't park there."
3.5 hours, perfect I say👍👍👍👍👍
Rein terapi og se disse videoene du lager. Perfekt timing å få det på en mandag. Fortsett med det du gjør, dette er en av mine top 3 kanaler her på youtube!
That's quite a setup. It's even color coordinated 😊. Young man you made that look easy even though it was difficult
