From the very first walkthrough of this place I knew that Rob Berk was really taken care of his place but this completely blew me away that he's completely absolutely At a next level of any Museum on the planet truly amazing Arcade Hollywood this is your best video ever !! Makes me want to move to Ohio and be a pinball Tech for them !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video, thanks for sharing! It's super interesting seeing the inner workings of such a large operation. The history inside that building is incredible!
We are heading to Ohio this summer to visit family and friends. Definitely coming by your Museum to spend some time. Thanks for sharing and Greetings from Ontario
I've been to Columbus Ohio 2 times for heavy metal festivals. There are 2 regrets I have about those trips. First is not visiting the rock and roll hall of fame and the second is missing out on this fabulous arcade.
I grew up in Newton Falls and lived there, up until 1983 when I went in the navy. I wish I still lived there, because I'd come over play pinball all the time. I used to play pinball at Nelson Ledges, remember what an arcade THAT was!!! Today I live in Dallas Texas and own 5 games, a Pleasure Isle, a Target Pool, a Bank A Ball, a Hot Line and a 4 Square. I would have more games, but I ran out of room for them.
Great video! I went to Past Times Arcade last summer and most of the games were in working order. Much appreciation to the staff for their hard work. I can’t wait to go back.
Pinball machines are great and fun to play but a lot of work to maintain. I used to LOVE going to “time out” game room in the shopping malls. Back in the 70s and 80s, every mall had a game room-note the past tense-had. And every time I went in, at least one pinball machine was being worked on or shut off waiting for parts.
Stock inventory control at its best. The organizational skills are phenomenal. This place is astronomical! I can’t wait to visit and see/play all these wonderful machines. Thank you for the internal tour and explaining in detail the operation of this amazing place.
Wow, thanks for this video. It is well produced and edited, very slick and professional. The museum itself is mind blowing. What an incredible collection of games. The care with which they're maintained is a credit to the owner. Hard to believe there's that much money in the world, that one guy can afford to have all those machines and such a well run facility. For pinball enthusiasts, it's a dream come true.
Nicely done Jeff. While I couldn't help but notice the lack of Jack*Bot footage, I learned a lot about their operation. Can't wait to see the next video and you in Chicago again for Expo 40. Todd has seats for us at the breakfast table. Kudos.
Excellent video. 👍👍 Excellent, super professional arcade/museum. Thank you Rob and Past Times staff for saving these games and making them available in a clean, organized and fun location. 😊
One of the best videos I've watched in a while. I love the care they put into this place and their organizational skills are outstanding. I recently visited the Pinball Museum in Las Vegas (super fun) and they could take some organization tips from them! Thanks again!
@Arcadehollywood - triple multi ball. Really fun. Used to play Firepower too. Hope you get a chance to play it. Do you have it? I would love to fix those machine, when I retire. Love doing that stuff. You have a great staff.
Oh I would love it there. I want to get something going like this here in Portland, OR and I have been slowly building my collection of pinball machines. I only have about 10 so far but they are all great titles even have a Big Game from 1935 that I am working on getting restored. I like to buy broken games on purpose to get em back up and running and all of the ones I have worked on so far I have done just that. Only pin I bought completely working is a Police Force which I have been wanting for the past 20+ years and finally have it and only had it for about 6 months now.
That is the secret sauce to building your collection! Plus you really get to know the game/machine by restoring it. Yes Past Times is an amazing place!!
We have light switches at the front desk that turn on contactors in the back (much like a stadium). We have rows of conduit in behind each row of games. Every electrical box in the row has four outlets; each box has their own individual 15 amp breaker behind the wall for four games. Much credit is due to the company that installed it (CR Electric). The conduit is so well done that you wouldn't notice it unless you were looking for it. It's actually amazing art.
@@pasttimesarcade Cool, have wondered about that when we've been up there!! Now I know the answer!!! You are right, that is an AMAZING install!! Great job CR Electric!!
Thank you for stopping by! We appreciate your work as always! We'll be participating in the live chat as well to answer any questions.
Hope all of you enjoyed the premiere!! What a great place for you to visit and see how the Past Times is the most unique museum in the world!

The barcode system for reporting repairs is genius!
It’s a fantastic concept for reporting errors/glitches and it goes right into a spreadsheet reporting system.

Wow what an amazing collection of games.. looks like i need to take a vacation to Girard!
Loved the new storage area. Hope they get that Ataxx out on the floor!
There is so much to see at Past Times. I spent a few hours there, but really need to come back and spend the whole day (if not more).
Such passion. So impressive. Respect! 😎

Looking forward to seeing this one my friend.

Even from columbus it's like a 2 hour drive, so not so close, but not far away.

Thanks for the nice video Hollywood
Thanks arcade Hollywood great video.

Once again, another great overview video of one of my favorite new arcades!
Alan, as you know it's just a fantastic place! A destination spot for sure!!
Great vid! Mind blowing with all the unknown (to me) storage area on top of the main game area! I've been to Past Times, looking fwd to next visit.
im jealous of how organize your parts section is lol
TH-cam has delivered me a cool bit of esoterica with this one. Subbed!

There is no doubt it's so crazy difficult to maintain. So great to see this collection not gathering dust.
I live about 3 and 1/2 hours away from here and I'm going to make the trip this museum is the ultimate!

Super cool! I'll have to visit if I'm ever out that way!
You won't be disappointed! So much to see.
Its overwhelming. :o Incredible operation they have going on there. They have set the bar high for other pinball arcades.
Not difficult when you have millions of dollars and 50 years of hoarding! Other arcades have been around for years.

This is terrific. Thanks!
Much appreciated! Thanks for watching!
Would love to visit this location. Have always been into pinball and we even owned a Space Odyssey back in the 80s.

Hello PepperPear!! Thank You for your kind comments! Past Times is outstanding!
Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
Bet you can't find a Krull pinball machine, hehe, I can play it on pinmame though!
Slugfest is my favorite pinball game
love Slugfest

Wish the PHOF here in Vegas would adopt this maintenance regimen.
They should for sure!!
Have multiple millions of dollars? That's most definitely the answer to "how to operate a pinball museum..."
@@bobgomez9481 that’s how to “own” a Pinball Museum.
@@Arcadehollywood - you should see how much they actually cost to "operate" - really...
@@bobgomez9481 I own 70 games myself. Nope not a cheap hobby.
This was a great video! What happened to Flash?
It needed a restore sitting in the repair area
It's now on the floor. We pulled it from storage to just give it a good lookover before putting it out to play.
Great video 😊
Oooh that background music is too much to listen to for the entire length of the presentation 🥴
Jason is high as a kite
I'd love to work there. What is the power situation like? How man games per breaker? How many breakers total? What breaker sizes?
Lots of power!!!

Quality is way down from what it once was. The sweaty guys on cocaine building these in the 70’s put our modern craftsman to shame.
Huh???? Are you speaking of the games or the facilities?!
@@Arcadehollywood The layout of the internal components look like someone built a kit in their basement.
@@RunFaster011 quality from what or when? Still not sure what you are saying. That's kinda how EM machines have looked for decades??
