Contrary to popular belief, honey badgers are actually very loyal and loving creatures. My grandmother had one of them, and it loved her to bits. They are predatorial and protective of their property (i.e my grandma), quite dog-like in mannerisms. Also, very skittish/hyper/curious and problem solvers. Honey badgers are challenging due to their fast paced nature, but are lovely creatures (if they like you I guess).
They are protective, but not necessarily aggressive towards humans. Think of it as a cross between a cat and a german shepherd maybe, they will be a bit hostile at first and keep a distance as they are quite independant. But once they are familiar with you they are loving. Then again, these animals tend to have strong personalities, so each one is different really.
@@TienNguyen-og5eo lol you think a gun can defeat a honey badger? the thiefs balls will be munched up before he can even get out his gun and then the honey badger will pull out a king cobra out of it's back pocket and make it bite the thief and then make the cobra bite the honey badger as a from of sleeping medication.
@Bruh Moment TROLL! Why do people find it so difficult to accept friendship between a wild animal and a person? Why does everything always have to be talked badly?

Just so you guys know that thing might look cute, but ive seen plenty of honey badgers chase off grown male lions. Poor bastard who ever tries to break into that home
Just before i watched this i watched 3 leopards trying to kill 1 honey badger. After awhile the unharmed honey badger proudly walked away looking throughly pleased with itself.
YES.....................badger-PEOPLE are some of the nicest, most-humanlike, cuddly, moral, humane -Pets- *cherished Family Members* you will ever know!!!!!!
You should at least try to understand a Honey Badger's mood before posting a comment like that. Yes, they are relentless and vicious, but towards threats. They are very loving and loyal towards those it sees as family (the owners)
All mustelids are wonderful animals when tamed, even notoriously dangerous wolverines can be loving and playful pets when kept by humans I'm honestly surprised ferrets and mink are the only fully domesticated mustelid species out there, if it weren't how difficult some species are to breed, I bet we'd have more of them.
To all the people thinking because a honey badger can survive a lion attack, that it can kill a human, or even worse, kill a lion, is really using false logic. A porcupine for example can also defend itself against a lion, but can't kill even a house cat. A honey badger has sharp teeth and a tough coat, but against an upright human, it can't kill unless it bites the human in the jugular or some place vital. If a human has tough work gloves for example, there's very little the honey badger can do. This being said, this badger is quite adorable.
You are right. While it's the baddest of badasses it's just too small to compete with much larger predators. It may be fearless and scare away lions and it indeed has a thick skin which requires some effort to bite through. But in a real battle on life and death it will be killed by a lion, leopard, hyena and so on. And as you say: as long as a human wears some protective clothes and prevents it to bite the balls or the throat a 15kg creature can't stand against a full grown human. A hard kick will crush its jaws. And if a human lies over it our weight advantage will make it helpless on the ground and we can suffocate it. Also a human surely have the possibility to stomp it to death. This probably still with some serious damages for the human which likely requires some medical attention. So it's not impossible for a human to defeat it. A human can make use of his weight advantage more than animals. Maybe it can defeat a wolf but still the wolf can be more dangerous for a human than the honey badger.
It’s actually quiet terrifying if you think about it. A tiny skinny flat looking weasel thing like that takes on lions, hyenas, leopards, wild dogs, the literal worst animals out on open plains and somehow always comes out on top. I would love a Honey Badger.
Honestly this is scariest thing you could ever run into breaking into someone's house. You'd be like "oh they got a little dog?" *honey badgers proceeds to bite and scratch tf out of you*
Obviously humans are more than twice the size and strength the honey badgers mouth isn't big enough to get any deadly bites anywhere besides the throat there's no way in hell the honey badger could kill his owner unless he lets him
