David Cowley - 2017 Calgary Stampede Cowboy Up Dog & Pony Team Challenge

David Cowley had some special guests in his first Cowboy Up run of the 2017 Calgary Stampede, thanks to Shannen Jorgensen! The horses and their riders teamed up with dogs and their handlers to put on a show of finesse and skill before the big Cowboy Up competition gets underway!
The Calgary Stampede Cowboy Up Challenge is a multi-faceted equestrian sporting event that showcases both horse and rider as they maneuver through a series of obstacles. Each obstacle demonstrates both their amazing horsemanship skills and incredible speed. Held in the Scotiabank Saddledome, this event is the richest and most well attended Extreme Cowboy Race in the World. New for 2017, prize money has increased to a $30,000 purse with $10,000 going to the winner of the sudden death finals. This is an invitational competition, limited to 10 elite riders selected to compete in the three day event.
