Yeah, that only costs what? $15K for the needed training, $30K-$40K for the aircraft, then God-knows how much for the monthly insurance and hangar space. That's doable for the average Joe /sarc.

The bike sounds great but I wish there was a comparison with the original exhaust to get more of an idea of the volume difference. I don't like insanely loud bikes. I just would like a nicer tone than the original exhaust without being at all obnoxious going down the street. are there any after market windscreens that work good and aftermarket seats for this bike ?
I’m on the fence with replacing my stock pipe. That intake sound is so so sweet but this SC could work- definitely WITH the baffle. If I want to annoy everyone, I hop on the Scout with GP shortys 😅
Mann... ive been looking at all the middleweight naked bikes and was close to pulling the trigger on a street triple RS. I know the Mt09 is right there with the street triple, i just think the MT09 is ugly as sin. (Personally). But i just seen an XSR900 and after learning they are basically more retro looking mt09s, im thinking the XSR900 may be the next bike for me. Plus the 4K less price over the street triple is nice as well lol.
Reclaimed Mexico! I gotcha! I know these roads too well... That part of Mexico rides just like Central Texas and you wouldn't be wrong in thinking it was Texas; however, it's old Mexico, but renovated by the new owners!
@@veljkovic92 Same frame now, same fork lengths. Ergonomics are different on account of the handlebars above the top yoke, the different seat, wouldn't doubt if the pegs are in a different position relative to the seat, bars, and ground too.

Sounds great! I can hear you're not using the clutch for up or down shifts and its butter smooth. Is that specific to this bike? Been years since my old ZX7R and it was chunky if I didn’t fan the clutch on aggressive up/dwn shifts.
This bike comes from Yamaha with a bi-directional quick shifter. It cuts the ignition for a micro second while you complete the shift, negating the need to use the clutch.
I have an 2022 XSR900 as my first bike myself and have been looking for an exhaust, I've always loved the SC Project exhausts but as far as I can see they don't make one for a 2022 XSR900, only the previous version. IS this the 2022 MT 09 exhaust instead which just happens to fit? Just want to know so I can get one, thanks
Got it! Blue and gold.. got the World Famous VCycleNut Tune with the Dominator dual can exhaust.. Wow! Then went -1, +2 sprockets, and EBC HH Front Pads.. Gosh Golly!! I get a boner just thinking about it.. Formidable to 110 anyway.. my pair ain't that BIG! Found out the YN Cup Holder was the Brake Reservoir cover!! I want a full Beer Can holder! Gave up drinking 10 years ago.. celebrating..

I just happened to call my dealer not long after I closed on my house and they had literally just rolled one on to the floor. No deposit or anything on it. I got there within about 30 min and claimed it. 5 min later I would have been too late. This other guy was talking to his sales guy while I was standing there. He asked are you buying this bike? Yes. Yes I am. 😂 It was meant to be! I love it! I only wanted the black one 🖤
Hearing loss for the lose. But who needs hearing when you can never get it back again? A wife or husband's whisper, the birds chirping, the high notes and sounds of a beautiful song, the gravel crunching under your feet when walking, the splashing of water along a lakeshore. Don't need to hear any of that the rest of your life. Loud motorcycle was worth it.
Used to have the previous model, then traded that for a Honda CB1000R. Going back to that 3 sound, the CB sounds just like all the rest. Where did you get the exhaust, sounds epic. What camera rig are you using?

Have you ordered a full exhaust system for your bike, or a slip-on? If slip-on, then generally most don't worry about it. Just stick it on and ride. But if you are intending to swap the full exhaust system (this includes your catalytic converter) , you will want to look at having it tuned/flashed or stick it on a dyno to see any kind of performance benefits. I am waiting on one of these '22 models to arrive myself so have been looking into ECU maps ect and have found vcyclenut has plenty of good reviews for mail-in ecu flash options for the '22 XSR900 plus more. Hope this helps abit

I saw another guy with the same exhaust on his mt09 but there's like a rattle. Scares me but you're sounds fine. I think I'll just cross my fingers and hope. Maybe his brake pump level is hitting idk
The akra for this bike is ugly, that's for damn sure. Just choose the one you like the looks and sound of the best. Performance wise, I don't think it'll make much difference.
Does the MT 09 have the same akrapovic? If yes then probably MT09 akrapovic will fit in XSR as well. But don't get the factory accessoy akrapovic from Yamaha dealership. They have huge cats and heavy weight plus not much of a sound difference . Get the " only for racing" one . I have akrapovic full exhaust on my MT 09 (2018) super happy with it . DB killer still on and the exhaust is loud but not annoying.
Find a system that actually has decent diameter with the header pipes if you plan to gain performance. Don't focus so much on mufflers. Akrapovic make top notch systems, depending on what bike they service. The Akra system for the 1st Gen XSR is very different than the late model XSR which went to more of a traditional side-mount. M4 has a nice dual system, the main muffler in the belly and a small side exit underneath. No experience with them in person or power restoration. Mainly, most people baby these bikes for 2 thousand miles which eliminates their chances at making power. That needs to be done in the first 100 miles. They're worried about breaking a new engine to pieces. MFR's recommendations are about rider learning and liability, nothing to do with engine longevity and performance.
Full system means there is no cat, and usually no pre-mufler. Usually done through a cat delelete pipe or just straight headers running to the exhaust.

OEM already run lean. Full exhaust makes that situation a lot worse. Why people bother asking the question is beyond me. Guess they want to join the no-tune club.
@@alangriff1 That's not what it's about. It's about trying to stop a trend that is nonsensical. You modify with a full exhaust, you get a tune, period. Simple as that. Why leave your powertrain longevity and reliability up to fate? Why poll a largely ignorant online audience about what makes your expensive motorcycle engine last vs. fail? Seems like a dumb gamble. Ask experts who design them, repair them, tune them. Exhaust companies may have some experts on hand when they build systems to allow an engine to breath better, but I'm sure those flow experts don't often understand engine fuel maps and throttle-by-wire programming maps.
No annoying music, no out of breath commentary, etc…just a great ride with a great bike and great exhaust. Wish I could give your vid two thumbs up!

This bike has the ergonomy that 09 always should had. I could just feel by sitting on it how more fun and agile it is than 09. 👍
XSR is less agile than the MT from the same year. It's longer wheelbase, longer swingarm, more stable.

Bike has 6 axis imu you can change the TCS settings from front wheel never lifts to flying off the seat and anything in between

@@alangriff1 That's not what it's about. It's about trying to stop a trend that is nonsensical. You modify with a full exhaust, you get a tune, period. Simple as that. Why leave your powertrain longevity and reliability up to fate? Why poll a largely ignorant online audience about what makes your expensive motorcycle engine last vs. fail? Seems like a dumb gamble. Ask experts who design them, repair them, tune them. Exhaust companies may have some experts on hand when they build systems to allow an engine to breath better, but I'm sure those flow experts don't often understand engine fuel maps and throttle-by-wire programming maps.
Wee bit too loud....I fitted headers, got a 400mm Lextek can and a custom mid section made,lovely deep drone, but not annoying (800 mile day once).
