I remember lot of these characters but the one that really hurts is Billy Miller! I watched Y/R from the beginning and when BM came to the show he brought so much light and life to it.He shook the ground woke up the Characters like Victor their scenes together were brilliant Jack, Amelia,Adam, and Chloe as well.He was so great with the little babies and toddlers. I could see they felt safe around him. He really was a gift he was natural! R.I.P. Billy Miller!❤
Life is so short enough without doing something to make it shorter no matter how things get rough tough the storm out ride it out it's not worth killing yourself him mind wasn't strong enough to deal with life and the rough storms in it
He was best Billy Abbott. He was so handsome, charming and talented. Knowing he passed due to mental health issues truly breaks my heart. Billy Miller had so much more to offer.
@@leroygrim4681 I don’t think it had anything to do with his mind being strong enough. I think he had no control over his mind his thoughts his mind was racing it was out of control. From what I read about him he loved everyone that he was close to especially his family deeply. I can't imagine the pain he felt and I don’t think it’s a physical pain. It’s a pain you have no control over. I think you are right that it’s not worth losing your life over daily ups and downs, but bipolar manic depression is something he had no control over it controlled him. Mental illness is very real.
This was the only soap I watched, right from the beginning. I was in public and high school and ran home after school to watch. After I started working I would listen to the show on the radio on the bus ride home. ❤️
I remember all these characters who had left us this soap was the best I rushed home from high school just to watch my favorite soap I miss all the characters we loss. I was watching when Abby stuck her head in the oven Catherine was so jealous of young beautiful women. The men were so fine as well. And Victor was a man's, man. What a wonderful soap that I still watch!😀💓
Honorable mentions of Y&R actors who are no longer with us... Michelle Thomas, best known for Family Matters sitcom, she joined Y&R for a brief time and she died in 1998. Francisco Quinn had a role on Y&R, and his father was a legendary actor, and he died in 2011. Marla Adams, best known as Dina, enjoyed a long off-and-on run on Y&R, and she died in 2024. Not sure if I missed anyone else, or if any other names was left out of this video.
I will always love Y&R watched when I was in junior High and I still watch it yes I go way back we grew up together you might say and I still do, it was the best back then when the actor's were very young themselves RIP to those we have lost.
Has anyone ever thought about bringing them all back in clips when they were fresh and young it would be loved by all, especially us oldies but still goodie!😃
I was 9 when Y&R started. When I was home from school sick, I watched it, when I was in College, I scheduled my classes around it lol. I watch it now, the next day on Paramount plus, I remember them all. I'm a Y&R addict.
I enjoy watching this great show. ❤❤❤❤. I remember a lot of those wonderful actors that have passed away since I first started watching the show. It’s so sad that we have lost so many great actors and wonderful people.

Same here I've been watching this soap from day one and still loyally watching it but I feel the show is going under it needs to get back to the fashion shows and off of the direction it's going now.
Dang , this soap opera is as old as I am . My mother and my Nan pretty much raised me with it . I think I was 10 when I first started watching it , hearing “ Nadia’s Theme “ every afternoon through the summer. Good memories , I remember a good bit of these characters.
I remember the first time I saw Y&R I wasn’t supposed to be watching it because according to my grandma mother it was an adult show. But that didn’t stop me from sneaking a few peaks. And I learned to tell who was who by their voices. My mother was surprised that someone as young as I was knew about Y&R.
The narrator is wrong The actress that played Elizabeth Brooks was the wife of Stuart Brooks. Lori Lesslie Chris and a younger daughter I don't remember name
I actually remember all of these characters! Just saying. R.I.P. To all of them
