People can and do get worse at the game relative to the overall player base. Just because you've been to a rank does not mean that you are currently playing at that rank's skill.

I am ascendant-3 and after rank upload I am plat-3/diamond-1. I have no clue what happened but I have people with immortal gun buddies in my lobby and thats insane. Either my immortal opponents lose a game on plat elo or me asc-3 player lose a game on plat elo. Riot what the hell? p.s. I have alt-account which is asc-1 right now and I have higher winrate on it. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS
In my experience with this elo, fakes are too inconsistent of a strategy to pull off because teams generally dont have enough communication and coordination to pull it off. For one, probably 70-80% of players dont comm which basically makes any kind of coordinated play around the map impossible. Second, i feel like they dont actually know how to run a fake anyways: often the planting party will make contact way before the faking party has a chance to draw rotates, no body uses utility anyways so the faking party cant create pressure without alot of risk, they make a bunch of noise when leaving so defenders know exactly whats going on, etc. It feels like really the only consistent coordinated attack strategy is 5 man rush or die trying, sonetimes with 1 lurker, otherwise the game will devolve into 1 person pushing each lane or everybody ratting in a different corner.
I have successfully called countless site fakes while hardstuck in Diamond lobbies. I was the most Diamond Diamond player in Diamond, and it's the elo I have the most experience in out of any other rank, and I guarantee you that as long as you are friendly, and you word things correctly, then the team will understand you, and they will be very likely to go through with the plan. It is not inconsistent in the slightest with the correct approach, so you're either coping or you're really bad at making calls. The only "coordination" you need here is 3 guys going up C silently, and 2 guys going A in order to pull off the fake. It's that simple. You call "Hey can everyone shift up C quietly? Me and Skye will fake A", notice how I'm involving a specific teammate, with whom I just so happen to be able to sell a good fake with as well. As Woohojin says, make the call early in the pre-round. Before making the call, you can include an "observation" statement, such as "Hey they rotate really quickly, especially the enemy Skye" and then follow up with the main call. "They rotate really fast" + "Can everyone silently go C Long? Me and Skye will fake A" My teammates listen to this call around 80% of the time, and we win these kinds of rounds over 70% of the time. If anyone is ever skeptical, it will depend on your social skills to persuade everyone to go through with the plan. Making statements like "I guarantee you C will have one defender at most". Even if your team doesn't listen to the call, you will essentially confuse the enemy if they hear people pushing TWO different sites. It will essentially force the enemy to stay where they are, until they have information on WHICH of the two pushes is the 'main' push. The main key is to make sure that you name a teammate who is COMPLACENT. Your chances of winning the round skyrocket as long as you have enough information to know which teammate is most likely to fake the site with you. To do this, you obviously test them by asking someone simple stuff like "Hey Skye can you come with me?". You have enough time before the 4th round to test this sufficiently to know with whom you will be able to make these pre-round calls with. Hope this helps!

(I picked up Omen bc we never get smokes XDD) Coms rank from moaning to weird noises to really good coms. BUT you almost never get them. Even when you ask nicely for something they wont use their util for you hahaha But yes.. if asked ,they will come with you.... but if they really help in a fight is 50/50. (They will prob hide behind a wall/box and wait until you die... idk why... but they seem to love 1 vs 1. When I made a smurf account for my friend I would grind it out and got ranked d2 and he would get it to silver. Idk love the game I just think there is like a matchmaking hole that keeps higher skilled players down the threshold and if the bad player is having a good game they would win and rank up because they are projected with poorer performance

Try to pay attention to how enemies rotate off sites while your team is pushing other side of the map, if they try to push flank you can position for a free kill. If they don’t flank you can look to get a timing on the player rotating and either late flank or just kill a rotator and get back for post plant.

My account is silver 1 cause I don't play valorant anymore/ at all almost, and just did my placements (typical excuses lmao) but when I do play rank I get one tapped in the most odd impossible positions. However when I play on my friend's plat 3 acc, I do much better and win more gunfights than in silver/gold. Shit's crazy
Jumpspotting is not a silver bullet to gaining information. I've been tapped close to walls and boxes you name it just because I thought its a free action. If you really want information, ask your sova to dart, push your lane, or just chill and make a read etc. All of that is more proactive than taking a 50/50 jiggle peek. In high ranks, and even pros (E.G vs PRX) learn you will get tapped doing this all the time. As omen you could purposely delay your first smoke by 10 seconds it takes to walk up C long and you've already done better than risk taking unnecessary damage.

I think i used up all my skill to reach Gold last act. I do more aim and movement warmup now, and somehow my aim has gotten worse?! I think its my crosshair placement, i keep it at head level but I've gotten worse at angle holding. But im an OP god tho.

plat is literally the worst rank to climb out of, full with demon aimers but half of them are NPCs, so theres a good 50% of having a lurking initiator/smoke or just straight up ppl with the brain of a squirrel

That’s a great idea. You need to spend a decent amount of time researching a playbook and executing them in customs with satchels
Raze is a great agent but I would recommend learning one map at a time and getting a playbook and practicing satchels one by one
