Thanks, next one will be out Sunday.
Congratulations on your purchase mate and looking forward to the end product. Having aa quality 12v system already installed is a massive bonus and will save you some coin cheers pal and good luck
Lovely van❤.... I'm looking at buying one the same as yours, so looking forward to getting some ideas off you 😁.... How many miles has yours covered? Cheers🍻🍻

waiting for your next project. And since you are replying, I am now a subscriber.
Building my new Toyota proace at the moment and always takes longer than you think and even longer when you’re filming it at the same time haha.
Congratulations!
Will you add silicone to the roof plugs for water?
Shouldn’t need to as the grommets are a tight fit. But may fabricate some blanking panels and stick them over the top at some point to be safe.
❤
I just found your content and I am really enjoying it. What made you get rid of the old van? Was it reliable?
The Hiace was very reliable. I sold it as I use it to compute to work and MPG although good is not as good as the new proace. If was just using it as a camper I would have kept it. I would like to try and find a 4x4 hiace to convert but they are quite rare in the uk and only ever seen one for sale.
Makes sense. Can I ask what mpg you got out of the old van? It's hard to find real world info on the older UK versions. I am thinking of doing a similar build to you, your videos are quite inspiring!
@@fraserp2377 I got 39mpg driving at 60 on the motorway which I thought was pretty good. That was taken from a 2000mile round trip from Cornwall to Scotland. Mine was a 2.5L D4D turbo.
@@l.a.hunter that's very good... thanks for the info
These are meant to be very unreliable compared to the older HIace models that you used to have.
Yes the old hiace is built proof mechanically if you find one with no rust you’ll have it a long time! The new proace is like any new car it has lots of electrics so a higher probability of issues. The Proace is a lot nicer to drive, quiet and fuel efficient that’s the reasons I brought it. I will probably get another hiace at some point though 👍🏼
@@l.a.hunter i managed to find a very clean 2010 model with low mileage.
