- The build up top this years King Of The Air was crazy. I put so much pressure on myself leading up to the event. Stressing about every training session and doing my very best to get to the event in the best shape I could. In this video you can see everything I went through at the 2022 King Of The Air and how I felt about my performance.

The Heat against Giel was insane!!! I was tied to my Monitor when watching it live😂. Amazing Performance!

Bro, you are the best! Second time in a row you are in the best heat of the competition and would have deserved to win the competition. It's ridiculous how little time they gave you between the two sessions... But enjoy the journey anyway, that's what matter the most! We all know your value!

Keep the dream alive bro! Heat vs. Giel was one of the sickest heats I have ever seen in a Big Air comp. and had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Last move should've been the first 10 in KOTA history! Keep training hard and get what's yours! You more than deserve to be the next king.
Literally every heat in this year's KOTA was a final in itself. Insane riding. Especially the heat against Giel was soo intense!

The heat against Giel was massive bro! Had goosebumps all over the place and even at home on the screen i wasnt ready for the semi final against andrea! So i really have no idea how stressful it was for u man... so sad that it is the second time now that organization issues are making things so much more challenging for u! You will just win every single comp from now on!
This was first King of the Air that I actually knew about + watched live and all I can say is it is totally on my watchlist for next year. Better luck for KOTA '23 bro 🤙

When you’re break would have been longer I’m sure the podium would have been different. ….but to use “fans” That’s another year we can enjoy you’re stylish performance on the water …don’t loss faith 🙌❤

The best performance in any king of the air ever. It's not the first time you deserved to win but didn't. It's the nature of the competition, the final seemed anti-climatic compared to your heat with Giel as the wind had died off. The turn around time between you heats was an obvious flaw.
There must be a minimum time allocated for rest and for organizing your crew before a subsequent heat - even my wife noticed how lame that turnaround time was...

Unbelievable riding year after year in often the hardest draws each time around, with one or two moments of shitty luck being the difference it often seems. The time will come soon though no doubt.

Amazing video as always, keep up the spirit! You get it. And really nice featuring the other riders like that. "Big air is getting more and more dangerous.". I personally don't like the fact that KOTA is pushing the sport into taking more risks. Yes, it should be about extremity but not about risks. If judges start rewarding near dead experiences from people barely getting caught by a kite, more riders will push for that. Eventually people will get hurt and careers will end prematurely. I think RB needs to rethink this push for risk quiet well. The sport should get safer, not more dangerous.
