mid atlantic resident here.. My old "cape" had oil fired hotwater heat untill Oct. of 2015 when I installed a single outlet 24,000btu Mitsubishi mini. Low humidity is the only issue ive had with this install which has been addressed in a satisfactory manner. Reducing my energy consumption by over half has been a revelation .. I highly recommend Mitsubishi for their quality products and efforts to improve home comfort. And the environment .

Here is nc being told that i have to change all cassettes to heat or cool mode manually when needed and there is no way for them to be set up to change over automatically even while using kumocloud...

Just read the reviews of the Kumo CLoud App on on Apple App Store and you will see why it is better to try another brand of ductless system. My wiress sensor no longer connects to ceiling unit so the temperature is read at the ceiling and is always way off. And the unit wants to run the fan all the time even when it is 20F outside and it is in heat mode you get a nice cool breeze from it. Not pleasant.
Mitsubishi invented and owned this market but it is time to try another brand.
