I love this knife. I don’t have one yet. I have a job interview tomorrow, if i get the position I’m rewarding myself with the green one. This would be my dream job and it was a long road to get to the interview. Hard ass mechanical aptitude test and 2 phone interview’s so far. I better get the job I really want this knife!

Just watched this today you guys are great, I've just ordered a Black Mini here in Brazil, managed to find one online for sale here. Most American sellers would not ship it. Just a fun knife to have, mainly for heavy duty jobs in House and Work. Also if and when I go camping or wilderness trips.

I was sitting in class and I got a email notification on my phone(I felt the vibration). I quickly looked at my screen and saw the Blade HQ email with ‘Mini Sheepdog’ in the name. I immediately went to the bathroom and ordered mine and headed back to class. Not saying you should ditch learning for knives, but sometimes it’s worth it. I can’t wait til it ships.

Slicey Dicey It was AP Statistics, at the time I was a Senior but I’m out of school now. We weren’t doing anything in class so it wasn’t a big deal. But even if I was in the middle of a test I’d leave.

I preordered a blue one off knifejoy last week!
I just received one of these, with the green G10 slabs. I was actually surprised how nicely the blue pivot collar ring looks against the green handle scales. And it’s adorable! Slates in nicely between my Brous Silent Soldier G10 and ZT0900 as far as chunky little blades go. I dig it.

Mine arrived in the mail today. The mini is a perfect size. The Cloth is awesome and managed to damage it slightly on the blade opps, the blade is sharp. The only thing bird if you do full review soon please can you show decent technique to close it. At first forgot it had a lock its a little stiff to do it as good as you. the clip will need bent a little i think just difficult to get off and on my cargos. But I love it

Too small for me. I actually think the original is the perfect compact size. At least for my medium hands.
But, I can see it is perfect for smaller hands. It fits Frankie veey well.

Is the mini really that small in hand? I've been carrying a Emerson Roadhouse and wear large gloves will the mini be uncomfortable?

That's pretty cool. I'd love to compare it to a little (tiny) knife from Boker in their Magnum range. It's skeletonized, all blue with a sliver of Rosewood as a handle. Purely a dress flipper. Your average cat could pocket carry it. But it's pretty. I like it. But I like that mini sheepdog too.

I love my original Kizer Sheepdog, and it fits my large hands perfectly. Buying the smaller one doesn't make sense to me. Very cool though, and a good value!

I like it (especially the price) but id have to see it up close to know if its too small. I debated on getting the original sheepdog more than a few times, I ended up buying the critical instead, still not sure if that was the right call or not...
I had a friend who raised sheep and he owned two sheepdogs. Their names were Lambert and Lambo, i always thought that was great.
Do either one of those sound like good names for it?

I have Josh at Razors Edge milling out my Carter Prime to make it light (which cost more than the knife, LOL! :-))....That will be my primitive, man/choppy blade for now. Can't wait to get it back!!!! It will be such a refined crude instrument with less weight....although possibly nose heavy...we will see.
Hope I can get all of those little tiny ball bearings back in there....should be fun.
