Do you have any tips for an LG OLED C8 shutting off on its own ? Especially when trying to watch Netflix or amazon or hbo . The strange thing is I can play games on my Xbox , but when I try to watch Netflix through the Xbox app it shuts off immediately. Really strange

LG TV connected to laptop via HDMI. Everytime the laptop charger plugged in, the TV display will flicker then lost signal. Whistling sound - then restarts. My LG 37LC7D TV occasionally restarts itself. When this happens, it always starts with the picture freezing for a few seconds, while a loud whistling sound is heard (like an object falling fast from the sky). Then after the whistle, the TV restarts. I changed on bad capacitor but the problem was not fixed. Can you tell me if this is power board, main board, or something else?
I’m assuming I have a power board failing because my tv will work fine for a bit then it starts resetting where it turns off on it’s own then turns back on and will do that pretty regularly. I am going to replace main board and power board just to be on the safe side though.

Hi..I recently updated my LG tv UK6360 firmware to latest. During update process due to power failure ,tv shuts down & after electricity resumed, my tv update my completed .However, after update i see there are slight variation in color of tv after update. What could be the issue? I have asked similar model users and they said no issue found in their tv after update which rules out possibility of firmware bug.
My 13 year old LG just shut off today. While plugged in it is stuck in a nonstop loop of turning on(all lights light up at the bottom with black screen) and instantly shutting off(all lights at bottom sequence to off). Then it turns on again and off again, etc until I unplug it. Any ideas would be very helpful, blessings!
Any idea what this could be. Left unplugged for a day or so. Turned on and stays on for about 10-15 mins then it reboots. Every time it reboots it takes less time. Even when it's in standby it is losing power because you can see the standby light turn off then on again

If you’re expert in electrical devices then apply as below: a) If their backlight is lit, need to check the T-con board Vcc voltage input after SMD fuse. If the Vcc voltage appear (typically it is 12V or 5V), the higher opportunity is the T-con board gone. So replace a working T-con board to give it a try. b) If this TV backlight is off, need to check the BL_ON & PDIM signals are appear or not. If not appear, the problem is in the Main board there. Please unplug tv ac power cables from electric outlet. And hold power button for 10 seconds. Then turn on .
If not work then it is hardware issues. Need to replace or repair power supply unit or main board.

Hi..I recently updated my LG tv UK6360 firmware to latest. During update process due to power failure ,tv shuts down & after electricity resumed, my tv update my completed .However, after update i see there are slight variation in color of tv after update. What could be the issue? I have asked similar model users and they said no issue found in their tv after update which rules out possibility of firmware bug.
My 13 year old LG just shut off today. While plugged in it is stuck in a nonstop loop of turning on(all lights light up at the bottom with black screen) and instantly shutting off(all lights at bottom sequence to off). Then it turns on again and off again, etc until I unplug it. Any ideas would be very helpful, blessings!
Any idea what this could be. Left unplugged for a day or so. Turned on and stays on for about 10-15 mins then it reboots. Every time it reboots it takes less time. Even when it's in standby it is losing power because you can see the standby light turn off then on again

So my LG tv will be on for a few hrs and then just randomly cut off and lose all power. I’ll have to unplug and let it rest for a little while. Even if it’s plugged in but not on(for viewing) the red light will be on and I can come back a few hrs later and it would have lost all power. What could that be?

@@griffinjourdan This is what I learned on forums on line. Unplug, plug, press switch on. It should be ok. If not swith it off, unplug then do thr same procedure. Keep iy on until ok. I did it on my TV and it's working now. Avoid shutting gown TV by directly unplugging it from wall without shutting it using power switch or rc.

If you’re expert in electrical devices then apply as below:
a) If their backlight is lit, need to check the T-con board Vcc voltage input after SMD fuse. If the Vcc voltage appear (typically it is 12V or 5V), the higher opportunity is the T-con board gone. So replace a working T-con board to give it a try.
b) If this TV backlight is off, need to check the BL_ON & PDIM signals are appear or not. If not appear, the problem is in the Main board there. If these signals appear, the problem is in the inverter board/section or their CCFL/EEFL lamps.

My LG TV keeps shutting off after almost exactly 30 minutes. If I let it sit for a minute, it will come back on but only for about 10-15 minutes. Then pretty much not at all. I have to let it sit for a couple of hours then to turn it back on. I've tried unplugging it. I thought the sleep mode was on but it's not. Please help! Thanks!

My lg tv works just fine . But wen im watching Netflix and i want to fast forward something 3x it turns off and then i wait till the light turns red again and i turn it on . And it will be fine again . Untill i do the fast forward thing lol why .
