Surprise surprise Ten was involved in the styling for this mv like he was for Paint Me naked and he actually received this song the same time he did PMN but he said he wasn't feeling it at that time so he focused more on PMN which was something different for him because as you know NCT and especially WayV be making some hoe anthems 😂 so PMN was different but it was also who Ten felt like at that time well this young man felt like he was ready to put that sauce on Birthday and he did and he again got asked to be hands on with the styling as well as the set up for the mv and he delivered because Ten is art and he makes art out of anything he touches so here we have it. Man I'm only watching reactions to this with a few people because between crying over Jin's solo song and crying for a different reason over Ten I am tired 😂. Great reaction as always 💜.
As you may know, Ten just recently was a dance mentor and judge on a Chinese dance competition show Great Dance Crew for several months in China, which is where "Birthday" and a short version of this dance was first performed more than 6 months ago. Ten is well known for his drawing and design work -- several of his tattoos, which, yes, are all real, are designs he created. Not only is he talented in the art of music and dance -- he is a main dancer (one of the best dancers in the industry), lead vocalist and one of the centers of NCT -- but he is also talented in all forms of art. If he wasn't as singer and dancer, he could probably be a very successful graphic designer or other type of artist. To see just how good at drawing he is, look up a compilation video where NCT/WayV members love Ten's drawing, there are a lot of examples of his work. And yes, this dance was, at least in part, choreographed by him. Ten is often the one that creates or modifies the most memorable and dynamic parts of NCT/WayV's dances that he is a part of. Therefore, it wouldn't surprise me if it was Ten who came up with or modified that tightrope jump move to create what you see in the MV. Most choreographers say they present Ten with choreography and then he changes it and makes it even better. He is a very skilled choreographer as well, which, as I think you know, he has shown off in several self-choreographed performances on NCT's TH-cam channels and as a member of SuperM, etc. (Which I think explains a little of his skill level.)
I love how hands on he is! I respect all artists for sure but it’s something about the artists that create their own content that hit a little harder for me and ten seems to be one of those artists✨

You're right Ten is a dancer dancer and he enjoys a challenge there's the potential for him to be on a dance show in China and dude I know he would only get wwwwaaayyyy better if he were added to that line up and that's saying alot because he's already killing it. You have the Lee Taemin always praising Ten whenever he can. Also people say Paint me naked choreo was easy but no it's wasn't it would be hard for regular folk to handle plus he did that because then we could appreciate his heavenly vocals which deserve alot of recognition honestly

His falsetto in this song is crazy. ...and there were parts in this MV where he was giving the audience staredowns that could cause people to pass out. In my opinion, this is the best solo release by any NCT member ever. But I think a lot of kpop fans like trendy, faddish song. I almost think this song is too much for some NCT fans. NCT has a good deal of young fans and sadly I think this song is beyond to their 'scope' and that's too bad because I doubt the song will ever get the recognition it deserves.

There was nothing extraordinary or special there. I don't hate it but it just sounded like a forgettable song.
