Jack Ivankovic was the best goalie this game and tournament for sure but Stebetak kept Czechs in the game. Stopped 2 breakaways could of been 4-0 before they knew it. Good win by Canada though, cant wait to see McKenna next year too.
Considering that the Edmonton Oilers almost won the Stanley Cup, don't understand why there's not a lot of ppl watching the game with a lot of empty seats. Kinda disappointed that this wasn't promoted a lot more around Edmonton, forgot that this was still going on. I'm sure there's a lot more hockey fans that might be interested in watching this live especially with the Olympics going on.
Or even in Alberta. We could have taken our European friends who were visiting up to Edmonton for this game. They'd have liked that and there's more to see in Edmonton than Calgary!

Never seen any Canadian team play this strong and flawlessly defensively, never. Not a fcking chance, we were lucky we lost by one, could be easy shutout. Also Dravecký must get his shit together and improve his non existent defense.

Adding Gretzky to the title seems a desperate attempt to infuse some interest with the fans, but if you can't sell hockey in Canada you have a problem.

Ač uznávám, že se hrálo v těžkým tempu, kolikrát ty nahrávky od našich šly kamkoliv jenom ne naše hokejky. Takže jediné plus jsou ty dvě tyčky v první třetině, jinak jsme Kanadu moc nepřekvapovali.
