Me and friend are coming in summer (August) and we never see snow, so it’s crucial we get to see it :). We would like to do at least of walk on snow or skii. Can we do in Klein Matterhorn?
Hi Intanayu! Sorry for my belated answer. Welcome to Switzerland 🇨🇭 and there are icecaps & glacier on top of Matterhorn. You can enjoy the ski all over the year.
This kind of concept is very good to see street. I`m concerning about you who tired for grapping camera all the time while waking down the street. Take a rest!
Although it's pretty hard task to holding the camera, it's ok for me to do it as long as you guys are enjoying such contents and explore Switzerland over online. Always thanks a lot for your concern & dedicated support, Eddy! 🥰🥰🥰
I was in Zermatt in 1969 and I saw almost nothing in this video that I could recognize! A couple of old hotels and the churches but there were no buses or vehicles ripping and running by them. The only shops were on the main street and side streets had no shops or very little of them. No taxis. We had to walk everywhere. It appears Zermatt has quadrupled in size since then. All those modern looking streets and all that traffic!!! I think it has ruined its Old World charm. What a shame! Even the train station is now huge and modernized. I had thoughts of returning now in my old age, but I think I don't want to see it like it is now. Too sad for me. Nothing was allowed back then on the streets except carts pulled by donkeys or ponies. Supplies were brought in by electric wagons but they stopped outside of town and unloaded so that the tourists couldn't see them. They came from down in the valley by an old gravel road.
Another thing makes me sad is that the glacier on top of mountains were reduced quite significantly and I'm sure the view is way different than your earlier visit in 1969. Thanks again for your interesting comment, Mike.
