As promised, the channel is going to get a lot more active. A lot of things are in the works. I apologize for the lack of uploads for some time. The last couple of weeks hadnt been the best for me mentally, as much as I can push myself to work, I'm not a machine. Getting to the end is scary. This transition feels so much safer. Like, you get mailed every season, about how soon you'll get over double the amount of content you have. And that it wont be the end. It's so comforting. All things will come to an end though. I need to accept that. Still, the time we're at now is so good.

The best extended version of don't forget I've heard. It's so meaningful
This feels so natural. Like it's how the song is supposed to be. I love the inclusion of the "Once Apon a Time" theme from Undertale. I feel like with each successive chapter, we get to another verse with a different instrument in the background until, in the final chapter, we get the full song with everything put together in one final sendoff of our characters, saying goodbye to the Dark world, and all of Deltarune, to explore ourselves and give the story life once more through our own imagination.
I feel you. The lyrics express a part of everyone here, not just the good or the bad but everyone who's played and every character who's lived. It expresses each and every moment of the game and us who play it.

I tried to memorize this song to sing to my beloved dog who's been slipping away the past few months, but it was always jumbled up...
Well, we said goodbye this morning, and here I am trying to go to sleep, realizing that I've suddenly memorized this.

My grandma passed away when the COVID-19 started, i listen to this when i remember her, and when my Mother told me that i couldn't stop crying for three weeks because i really miss her and while i was typing this i started crying and started remembering her...
I lost many people i really cared about, loved, and didn't forget, and i lost some because of crazy people and i wish i could see my grandma again.

i feel a little silly for never fully processing the themes of growing up in detarune until listening to this. as well as kris being controlled literally by someone else more metaphorically fitting with that theme. the way i interpret this song is the official don’t forget is sung by asriel to kris (technically ralsei as i believe ralsei is a manifestation of that part of asriel in krises mind) and this song is almost like a sequel to that being kris singing to themselves using the words asriel once told them.
This is beautiful. The Undertale leitmotifs, the singing, the fact that it seems to be coming from Kris, amazing. Bravo.

Also, while replaying Deltarune...I just noticed that the melody of the part "all the battles lost, who's there picking you up if you fall, is there anyone at all? Next to those who feel like home?" is part of Field of Hopes and Dreams, when I noticed, I couldn't help but sing these lyrics!

Some parts are definitley Kris singing though. I kind of imagine this having multiple canonical singers, since I feel like some lyrics fit different characters.

The soft and calming voice singing, the beautiful lyrics that feel so freaking meaningful, the inclusion of old leit motifs from Undertale, just.... UGHHHHH!!!! THIS IS PERFECT!!!! I've wanted to hear something like this for a long time, and the way the lyrics work with the original is amazing! Also, I like the use of Field of Hopes and Dreams and Once Upon a Time. They both fit really well, but I'd never think I'd hear something as upbeat as Field of Hopes and Dreams here, you made it fit really well.

Beautiful. My interpretation of the song is actually based on the secret ending in chapter 2. I feel like Ralsey sings it to Kris, maybe Susie too, but mainly because Kris knows he is being controlled by the player and Ralsey is aware of that and wants Kris to know he is not alone. We’ll find a way to free you. Just don’t let the player notice.

The surprising inclusion of Undertale was genius; made me burst into tears when I first heard it :)
I know it sounds stupid but i always thought this song was Asriel talking to Chara as in UT Chara is protrayed as the "Player" and Asriel and Chara both had lockets and the song says "Don't forget" and "Promise in our hearts" Like he is talking about the locket. and to not forget about it. Plus this makes sense as Asriel and Kris are brothers (In deltarune) and Kris looks like Chara and Kris turned around is just Frisk without the F, Frisk being the character and meeting Asriel at the end of the game if you do Mercy run. I know i sound dumb rn but just think about it for a moment. This next part is just extra evidence: Frisk without the F is risk and Kris looks almost identical to the unused chara sprite (Just search it up youl know when you see it) Even if toby said it's a different world Asriel and Chara somehow fit in perfectly with the representation of characters.
