- First league race: we start off great, and hold the lead until an incredibly stupid mistake ruined my chances at winning. How well will I be able to recover?
Just so you are aware, the power band for the viper is generally 5000-5500 and you lose power running it all the way to the redline. Unless he added a camshaft, which I don't think is an option on the racecar version. Also, I've made the fuel mistake as well. Feel stupid when it happens.
I checked the rev range in practice for the builds this car had, this was the optimized way I found, was the rev a little bit further.
@@JacksRacingProjects not sure if it helps but in my testing I found that just below 6000 was best to shift. But don’t forget you can stick with the viper and add the new build or you can switch to another car. We are using the green build for the rest of the series.

That is really unfortunate that you ran out of fuel, but there should have been an option to have that locked in, at the beginning of the race like you mentioned. Selected the wrong fuel option has nothing to do with racing

New to this channel and love NG your content. Sound like a normal guu racing like so many of us. Love that I can relate to you and your racing style. Although I try to be as clean as you sometimes on controller it's twitchy and bumps happen. The penalty system is of but could definitely use some tweaking

Are there communities that are a bit more hardcore? Its no problem for me if people using the assists and not the cockpitview but i would prefer to drive against people that have the same settings that i have.
Yes, most of the league racing ban all assists that help you drive it; so those are all banned. So the only assists you would see in Tora for example, would be abs and tcs from whoever chooses to use it
@@JacksRacingProjects OK. Thanks for the information. But ABS is one of the assists that would be very important that it is not allowed. Its Not that i disrespect people who using it but for me racing should have potential to make little mistakes cause that make it interesting and is the cream in the Coffee. But i will have an eye on Forza communities cause since Dan Greenawalt is Back i lost my hope that is possible to have fun with Forza without beeing Part of a Community.
so, these cars all have these assists in real life, all gt3 cars are required to run with it, so i dont see it as an issue on cars that actuallu have it.@@sebastianberger746
@@JacksRacingProjects but i do. First i dont like it that assists are a part of real racing. I understand the safty aspect but nowadays these assist are exploited to be faster and to compensate the lack of talent of some drivers. Thats not how real racing should look like.
And i really have to laugh about the double standards of gamers. Do you know in a game you cant hurt your self or Others. In real life you cant practice 24/7 the whole year, you cant use a cam view that give you more overview, you cant use setups that are so extreme that they exploit errors in the gamemechanics, you cant use a racing Line or change the streanghts of the weather effects when the View getting worse but that is all OK. But If sb say let us drive without ABS its suddenly not ok cause that wouldnt be like in real life. I stand by my opinion. Racing, especially sim racing, would be better without assists and thats how i Play the most racing games. ACC is one of the few games i have the Abs still on but just on the smallest Level. Its to easy to get a flat spot but in Forza you dont have this problem. So why not encrease the challenge for better racing?
Honestly mate the think with the new beamng update you should hop in that, forza is too casual for you, but I bet if you went to Reddit, you could find a no assist League.
