Well, I learned something today;I did not know you cooked cake donuts the same way you did yeast donuts (and I've been a semi-pro cook most of my adult life ( 50+yrs.))
I commend all of these donut 🍩 shops for all the detailed work that they put into their product. I wish that they had a shop here in California where I live.
There are alot of donut shops owned by Koreans and there are a lot of speciality donut, pastry and bakery shops in CA that make these type of donuts. I got 4 in a 2 mile radius of my house in southern CA. My problem is saying away from them to keep my sugar count down.

I love how sanitary everything is! They make it look so easy, i made a homemade version of a donut and i was pretty disappointed in my so called donuts. they didnt come out like these, they were more like bagels instead of light and fluffy they were dense and chewy.
