YES!! It worked!! Thank you! I am editing my comment because earlier I almost gave up. I used the computer and got the phone in recovery mode to update. When that was done it kept giving me Apple logo. I took phone out of case, covered with a hand cloth, and massaged the phone a few times like another video suggested. IT ALL WORKED ! ------ Could a non-oem battery be the cause of the problem? I had the battery replaced at Batteries & Plus. The phone worked ok for a year, stopped recognizing battery altogether and then started doing the reboot thing. I can't get the screen to stay on long enough to erase and reset from the phone itself.
Yes, a non-oem battery could be the possible reason. Happy to hear that it helped 🤗 Don't forget to subscribe ByteFurther channel to stay tuned with latest iOS tips.
Can a piece of software cause this? Because my phone will enter a boot loop for 30 minutes. But it fixes itself eventually, and if I avoid an app which I suspect might be causing it (a legit app, 0 chance it's sketchy) then the phone can go 10-12 hours without entering another boot loop. Updating to the latest iOS didn't fix it.
I have a iPhone XS Max and it still won’t work over tried everything but the iTunes restore but I only Have a windows pc how can I do it if I don’t have iTunes on my windows pc
@@bytefurther i did everything through itunes but when its rebooting to the final stage of instaling the one with an 'apple logo and progress bar' its starting the loop all over again. Sometimes its geting till 20%

What to do if my phone is in recovery mode but then shuts off in the middle of recovering and starts a bootloop again
Then, put your phone into recovery mode again to continue the recovering process.
