The Tomb of Sarah | Ghost Stories from the Cotswolds

- Deep in the heart of England, in the wilds of the cotswolds, the tomb of the evil Countess Sarah is disturbed after a church restoration. Shortly after, a werewolf is afoot in the village and a vampire is reawakening - it is up to the church restorer and the rector to bring an end to the evil and rescue the lost soul within.
This is our Halloween special: A classic Vampire story by F.G. Loring, read by our Cotswold Explorer Robin Shuckburgh, with imagery of the Cotswolds in the dead of night to illustrate the tale.

Many thanks for this reading. My grandmother instilled in me a great respect for those interred within cemeteries. Prior to The Second World War, she would frequent Highgate cemetery, where she would sit and read. My grandmother's name was Sarah.
How spooky your gran having same name and liked visiting cemeteries, I too like to visit old graveyard's and cemeteries.
@@noreenclark2568 -- I worked as a cemetery groundskeeper. I even dug more than a few graves by hand. It wasn't particularly "creepy." It was hard work, an honour and, at times, a bit sad.

I love these stories and documentaries. Having grown up in Cirencester and visited much of the Cotswolds, it's haunting beauty and colourful tapestry of history makes me truly grateful to consider it home. There's nowhere else like it and I wouldn't change it for the world.

I love this so much. Nice haunting stories no blood curdling screams. I've seen some documentaries and they start out with blood curdling screams. This show is so calm even my cat is laying next to me with her head on her paws listening lol.
