The solve error is on the right just above the footage. Says 5.95 which is how many pixels the tracker is off by. You want to try and get this below 1 pixel for a decent track.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but when I upload the video and set the frames I get 343, not 143. The Solve Camera Motion also fails to execute. It says "Some data failed to reconstruct (see console for details)" Any idea what could be causing this?
Hello Jim for the video i shortened the clip purely because I thought the length of the clip was too long so it makes sense your getting 343 frames. with the solve camera motion it could be that you might have too many or too little tracking markers. (sometimes with blender you have to just try, change and retry again. ) pres b to bring up the elasso select tool and delete the markers not on the actual building making sure you don't go below 8 markers. Quick tip too help speed things up if you have a GPU, go to edit, preferences, then click the system tab, then under video sequencer increase the memory cache limit, this will help load the actual footage into your ram quicker for a smoother tracking experience in blender overall.
i made the same things you tell us to do but still getting more track points than the one you do in the video then affter using filter they became less than the one you have
Hello mate...go to the output tab, make sure your frame rate and range are correct. in the output twirl down set what folder you want your file exported to, choose a file format (open exr Is best codec dwaa lossy) then press CTRL, F12 or click render (to pleft) then render animation. if you wanna render in separate layers then create collection and enable hold out and indirect or just turn of what you don't want to render by clicking the camera button in the scene collection. hope this helps

@@keyvisual9743 you might be in render mode with the transparancy turned on. If you switch over to solid mode the cube will be visible. You also want the cube to be a shadow catcher for the flag. So makes sense it isnt visible in render mode. Hope this helps
I have been on this tutorial for 5 hours now and it is not helping me at all. A lot of things are left on 'Now we do this' how?? I am a beginner and I am struggling a lot. If you make something for beginners please give out the details too..
I understand where your coming from. In my next tutorial ill make sure its easier to follow for people who are just starting out in blender. I just didnt want to make it a 35min tutorial and make it boring for the viewers. Thanks for the constructive criticism.
Thank you!

when i play the video, the object moves, he doesnt stay in the place, how can i fix this?
Improve your tracking, watch carefully the 1st chapter of the video
how long u render it?
i made the same things you tell us to do but still getting more track points than the one you do in the video then affter using filter they became less than the one you have
as long as you have enough tracking points on the building itself and your pixel error is below 1 pixel you should be good to get a clean track.
same problem i am facing :(
Iam pressing shifft+S i get snap 5:58 not to face !!
hey i am getting the same issue. Can tell how to resolve it?
