I wish more people realized how much of an impact Liza Minnelli and Bob Fosse, through this one movie, had on the world. So many people made careers by borrowing bits and pieces of this collaboration, and almost 50 years later, garter shorts are everywhere and I find myself in a Gothic Cabaret band that could never have happened had it not been for this movie. ❤
Liza gave a truly immortal and legendary performance in this movie.

Saw her in Sydney about a month ago and she was AMAZING....she's still got it.....she brought the audience to tears to laughter and back again and back again......they dont make them like her anymore! AND she sang Liza With A Z......i couldnt believe it....Was such a great show! Thankyou Liza I will never forget it......and thanks again for posting!

Wonderful, thanks so much! Through an amazing coincidence, I was managing a restaurant in a casino and Liz and her crew came in after the show...I not only got to talk with her, but as the others faded away (it about 4:AM) she and I ended up the only ones left... I walked her to the elevator afterwards and, since she had an injury, she put her arm around me! She is an absolutely lovely girl, great fun to be with and I only wish I could have seen her again- it was a magical night!

My question for a long time is: Did the final number get shot first in the US before the crew moved to Germany? It looks like a different DP and an entirely different set than 95% of the rest of the movie.
