@@newnatureadventures I stocked 300 last spring around 3-4 inches and 150 in the fall between 6 and 8 inches. Most thar I have caught are around 7 inches, but some are very skinny while others are pretty healthy.
Thanks for watching. I’m not exactly sure. I have never seen a redfin perch in person. My understanding is that they are more found in the UK. And they have distinct red colored fins except on their dorsal. In looking at pics online it also appears redfins have 6 vertical stripes usually, and yellow perch are typically 7. I’d be curious if anyone else has experience to share.

Sounds like you will have baby perch soon. I hope some of my perch were mature enough to spawn. Next year they should be for sure.
I would think some of your perch are big enough to have spawned this year. Do you think they are 6”…that’s big enough.

pretty cool, how do you tell the difference between redfin and yellow perch would you say? im struggling to finding it out lol
