Love the Synergie, my mum has had one since it had 68000 miles, now has 152000 miles. Never had a single engine problem. Gone are the days of such reliable, s7mple engines
Imagine modern day steering wheels back then Would've gone bananas haha "Sooo many buttons !!" Family owned an Evasion, kinda the same thing, was absolutely lovely
Ran one of these for some years on veg oil. Countless camping trips in the old girl. 3 kids, the dog and a huge roofbox. Full laden, we could get to Great Yarmouth from Nottingham on 15 quid of Lidl Vegetable Oil! Loved it to bits 'til it fell to bits. Had a V6 Galaxy afterwards - drove slightly better but the electric woes were endless and the autobox was terrible. I am determined to find a late Syn, 806 or Ulysse this spring.
I had one and as to the handling.....a set of 40mm lowering springs and a set of 215 55 r17's made a whole world of difference! A friend had a celica gt4 (Admittedly he wasn't the worlds best driver) but on a real twisty road I managed to push him along without problems!
