Great result on the water meter. Will save you those pennies. Wish I could do the same but my grounds hard clay and the water table is quite high as it is so a soak away is a no go for me. All my waste water from the drum go's strait into the main sewer drain from my house

I wanted to do a soak away in my garden but it's solid clay and the amount of water I use it would fill up quicker than it would soak away 😔 so mine goes down the drain.

That's a fantastic result with the water meter and soakaway, you were right up against it when the old soakaway had collapsed 🤦♂️ so what was a bad situation at the time has turned into a proper proper result, that's a no loss situation and your on to a winner 👌👌 and I remember that hole you dug out boy that was deep, plus all the hard graft that went into it 💪💪💪🔥 but putting it in has now turned out to be a blessing in disguise 👍👍👍🙌.

James nice one.
All over the England you can, you save around a third as non return to the sewer. Just remember a soakaway must fit in your ground type. Ie bigger or smaller depending on what soil etc you have. Remember clay needs to be much bigger! Works with swimming pools as well. Not hot tubs. Fire service can do it for a charge if you wish to fill from empty. There is a nuighty way as well but I'm not saying lol. Stay safe 🙏 love the channel ❤️

with them Hanna meters i see they do free chlorine and total chlorine which one is better
Very interesting and easy method on how to tell whether your city is using chloramine or chlorine for disinfection! I guess that hanna ammonia meter is sensitive enough to detect ammonia added by the city that does not combine with chlorine in order to make chloramine and remains in the water as ammonia. However, I don't think you need the total chorine checker for this method to work or did I miss something or a lot of things?^^ Would love to know.
I think it’s easyer to use the hanna but I think you can use any test kit to work it out tbh
But I only use the hanna kits as that’s what I was told as that method works better
