You just got a follow, I have been shooting since I was 10. I'm 25 now that was some of the best knowledge I have ever learned about tuning. I got my broadheads in the mail today and I wanted to figure out the best method but that was like insane your a genuis
Ballzey- shooting at traffic😂😂😂 I like your approach to arrow tuning, though. I like paper tuning a lot. Your simulated arrow weight and balance adds another dimension to bare shaft tuning. Pretty slick😉
Great idea, shoot a broadhead at a target suspended off a tree into the direction of an active roadway without a backstop. Next video; how to sky draw 6:53
The lighter pound limbs is killer information. You basically told me to buy a beater 50-60lb bow, tune and dedicate it to turkey lobbin- which makes up a thousandth of my shooting. Im not touching a perfectly dialed in bow to lob turkeys- then have to start all over dialing my bow back into archery from lobbery😂
Killed a buck at 28 yards with steep angled shot complete pass through and hit where i aimed have shot the bow for the last few months and havent had any problems out of it
great job on the Tuning Josh. the fletching Drag has to be greater than the broadhead drag. I caint imagine doing 6 vanes but you obviously found the sweet spot. lots of great information here.
great vid!.. although the target placement might need to be sitting to your immediate right .. and/or have a big arrow sheet behind it lol great vid and very educational.
I've shot lots of bows slingshots and rifles but I've never shot to kill anything No idea why I'm watching this I have no quarrels with shooting a turkey but I'm likely never turkey hunting unless I'm pretty hungry
I'm just getting geared up and will be using these tips to get Magnus Bullheads flying well. I prefer a captive rest for hunting - how do the 6 fletch arrows fly through a Whisker Biscuit? (I'm wondering if that's too much fletching to push through?)
I get that its a giant broadhead and it probably wont get that far but you shouldnt be shooting an arrow thats going 200+ fps at a pillow with a busy road directly down range
TravisM89 yea sure it's a safety thing because there is road behind but u really think it's gonna make it there aiming with his sight adjusted for 35 yards? U think a bow is like a rifle and will go 100 yards without dropping any? What would be the point of changing the distance your bow is sighted in at if your same point of aim at 35 yards would make it to 100 ?
Nathan Soares C'mon kid im just saying dont shoot towards a fucking road when theres woods right in front of you. Just stfu and quit being argumentative.
drewanderson502 I bought a no name jig on amazon for about 20$ I think (looks like a carter jig) and it fletches 3,4,and 6 vanes.if not wanting to go that route you can nock index on the 3 fletch setting. Do 3, then turn the nock for the next 3 to fit between. The second set is going to have to come out of the nock clip every time before you spin the arrow to the next one. (Unless you want to wait for your glue set up good and hard.) both ways work. I like the cheapo amazon jig with all the settings cuz I like playing around with my patterns but the second way Is free!
You can do it with any good jig, do the first three then take the arrow out of the nock holder and turn it 180°, nock it and repeat the gluing process.
Did anyone notice his target area with the backstop? All the trees in that area between the pillow and the road, and also how many cars were heard or seen? He stays safe when practicing and took a perfectly placed shot as an example, in front of a low traffic rd which was 100yds from the pillow and strewn with tons of trees between. He’s obviously skilled and was confident he wasn’t going to air one into an open window of an on coming car through a mass amount of trees 100 yards away. I’m willing to bet he can also hear when a car Is coming and could let it pass if he’d like. It was ONE perfect shot. Very low risk compared to actually driving down a winding country road. Shit don’t put pants on tomorrow because you “might” fall and snap your brain stem on the corner of your nightstand. I mean cmon! Safety first! Smdh
I love the way u shoot in the direction of bypassing cars......
Dude is a pro don’t try this at home little boy.
Nice being safe shooting towards the road! Good thing you had a pillow to keep everyone safe
Big veiny, long, stiff shaft. Got it!
Fkn god mode
You got me laughing like a lunatic on the toilet 😂😂

Great video. And very well-done. I'm never surprised at all comments. I guess there will always be people picking at something these days.

You are quite the artist.
Magnus bullheads are amazing! We have used them for years and had lots of luck with them!
I'm considering buying these to use on peacocks
That is an intense arrow head.

Those are massive as Well as the Broadhead!! 👊
Thank you so much for the tips! I will definitely be using them when I use those big decapitating broadheads. Awesome video!
Good video! Nice back stop! I did learn something thanks for sharing.
Glad it was helpful!
Great tips for head shooting turkeys!

Best video I've seen on this subject ....thanks

Great viedo all but shooting at the road
Get a grip
He dont miss lol
Oh good!!Thank you for the inpormation. i'm looking at your channel
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the hard work
Great job!
Awesome. Lets get some head chop vids turkey season.
I've heard that these broadheads didn't fly well past 30 yards. This is proof that they can. Looking forward to see some heads fly soon.
they dont.....if you dont tune your bow
Good info first turkey hunt will be in april 2021
You do videos really well. Could you please do a video of a full set up. Like, mounting a drop away arrow rest, fibre sights, tuning in the sights.
Thoughts on using a flu flu, rather than 6 vane? (I shoot a self-bow, btw. No shelf. 45 lb)

What broadhead are they
Great instructions! You can put that poly-fill pillow in an old t-shirt and get a little more life out of it too.
👍🏹👏

Entry 116
I shoot a 31” draw 65lb. I want to shoot the 125grain bullhead, what draw weight and spine wound work best?
Josh assuming you are only going for head shots from a blind inside of 20 yards would you run a Sevr or one of these decap style?

That turkey pic was like a cock
TravisM89 the road is like 100 yards out to make it out there he would have to aim way higher
Nathan Soares did you not read the first line? Its a safety thing, even if it is redundant.

Why are you shooting towards a road
i think it too dangerous~!!!!Especially used these BROADHEADS
Shooting toward the road like that is very unsafe! Good tips but definitely need a better range
After dropping the weight on your bow to 55-60 you're tuning the rest correct? Also, how the heck did you get 6 fletching done? Bitzenburger?

He likes it super stiff and long 😆
How far is that traffic behind your pillow lol?
Clicked looking to see a turkey decapitation😂😂
Was gonna comment, really shouldn't shoot toward a road. Pretty sure that's part of hunter safety....just saying.
Bro put a coat on you’re in Ohio it’s too dang cold lol

Africa
Where do you buy your limbs?
Shooting right at the road is just bad etiquette if you are trying to educate someone about anythung to do with hunting at all.
