In my humble opinion, our focus as a panth shouldnt be on justice(which at this point has become revenge to be fair). The best justice to the martyrs of that horrific incident will be to ensure a system where such things dont happen in the future. When guru teg bahadur ji was martyred, kalgidhar patshah had 0 notion of justice. On the contrary, he raised an army of sant sipaahi, made khalsa and ensured that no such incident(force coversion and many such attrocities) happen on anybody. Same is the case for Miri piri de maalak, Guru arjan gave him a hukum to take up talwar, and he rightfully did so!!.(yet again no justice from modern wordly standards). Our best way forward is to create such a system which cant be broken by any govt( whether it be current modi govt and its rss propogandas) or someone in the future. @@basicsofsikhi While I disagree with the "cocoon" part of the original comment, it still is important for us to move on. In my humble opinion, our focus as a panth shouldnt be on justice(which at this point has become revenge to be fair). The best justice to the martyrs of that horrific incident will be to ensure a system where such things dont happen in the future.
When guru teg bahadur ji was martyred, kalgidhar patshah had 0 notion of justice. On the contrary, he raised an army of sant sipaahi, made khalsa and ensured that no such incident(force coversion and many such attrocities) happen on anybody. Same is the case for Miri piri de maalak, Guru arjan gave him a hukum to take up talwar, and he rightfully did so!!.(yet again no justice from modern wordly standards).
Our best way forward is to create such a system which cant be broken by any govt( whether it be current modi govt and its rss propogandas) or someone in the future. A system where the sikhs know their history, its future goals, and its present.
Our future isnt just khalsa raj. Its to ensure a system, wherein no one faces injustice or is brainwashed of any sort.
All this is just my humble opinion and i might be very wrong.
