Battery is expensive..why only 500 charge cycles I wonder, its usually 1000 charge cycles. FYI Zoom is not a premium fork suspension....its mediocre quality...the better one is Suntour..

No its not possible...all batteries die out after specified charge cycles...

500 times one can charge up from 80% to93% efficiency, only in this Hero's Very Ordinary & Poorly designed lithium battery,..After that Lithium battery doesn't charge (less efficiency drops to 10% to 15%)..So One has Reinvested on battery at 7,500/-which is present cost.., Average every year expenses is more than 7,500/-.... That's the performance of Hero Cycle.

SAJID shaikh you are right but you can easily setup a lockable box electrical socket in your building parking where you can charge your bicycle. Additionally if you think with criminal mind , removable batteries can be robbed easily even after locking , same is not at all possible with this bike , believe me. No electric car comes with removable battery and never will. This is the way forward to design it with batteries inside frame. You can check out VANMOOF bicycle , who is the e bike king right now. They also have battery inside frame.

@@SAJIDshaikh-zk7cb it comes with a charger which can be plugged in any indian socket , is it not available everywhere. Main problem actually is charging time and what range you get out of it.

Yes looting because only 500 cycle of charging after that this cycle gets costlier by more than Rs 7000/-.... Hero cycles designed & manufacturer this type of cycle with No Safe rides without wheel guards, no shock absorber..And cyclists do 25kms speed?.. Definitely everyone will be with broken backbone..On Indian roads.
@@harihararamesh1375 Bro..25Km/h is not much....I ride 25 Km/hr on a normal bicycle, its not a big deal. Though I agree bicycle is expensive, and cost of replacement battery is also high, that too 500 charge cycles only.

Not sure about e-bikes, as these have batteries..there are restrictions on bringing lithium batteries in flights, however by sea cargo it should be possible. For normal cycle you can bring from abroad as baggage, I think duty is 33% not sure though..

HERO, the most reputed Indian brand, should get rid of these piffly peanut powered 5.8 Ah batteries in their Lectro C3, C5, C8 series immediately. Please introduce 10.5 or 12 or 15.6 Ah high range batteries and am sure these models will beat the competition to pulp!!
