Was this game designed by the same company that made the banjo-kazooie games because it very similar: the dialogue, the jumping, how the ticket after the boss reminds me of jiggies.
After Rare was purchased from Nintendo by Microsoft in 2002, a lot of people left Rare. Four years later they got together to try to form their own company. Now several years later, they finally become an independent company and they create Yooka-Laylee. The people who made this were the creative Talent behind Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong Country.

Jack Jacker And then it will continue in Yooka-Trayie, but that turns out to be Yooka-laylee: Cranks And Gears wich is a shitty car building game thing. (never played nuts and bolts :3.)
Some of the bosses were designed to be a middle finger to Microsoft. It looks okay, I think my favorite part is that Yooka and Laylee actually do behave like Banjo and Kazooie helping each other out even if they don't agree with each other most of the time and when you control them it's just like controlling the dynamic duo and the way gameplay goes is quite good to be honest and best part, this was actually made by a few veteran employees of Rare which is great, I might think about getting this game if possible

Quote lifted from a Forbes article: "After all, in its day, Banjo-Kazooie was essentially the equivalent of a AAA title given the technology available at the time. No matter how much funding Yooka-Laylee brings in from this Kickstarter, it seems impossible that it can meet current AAA standards of present day. Gustavo Barría Chavarría BECAUSE TH-cam PUT IT IN MY RECOMMENDED FEED. DO YOU THINK I CHOSE TO HAVE EVERY BOSS SPOILED IN ONE CONVENIENT PICTURE RANDOMLY AMONG ALL THE OTHER VIDEOS AND THUMBNAILS?!
Gustavo Barría Chavarría In this case, I'll be honest, the thumbnail problem isn't too bad here. Sure it's revealing what the bosses look like, but not the battles themselves, which are a lot more interesting. I see why people would be annoyed by the bosses' appearance being shown, but it doesn't spoil everything about the boss.
The best you can do in that case is ignore it! Besides, being afraid of getting spoiled is overreacting....I mean sure, watching someone else play the game is far different from playing it yourself, BUT ISN'T THAT THE POINT!? (If you don't feel excited playing the game after watching someone else play it, THEN THAT MEANS THE GAME WASN'T THAT GOOD; I mean, isn't the fatc that we know how a videogame that we really like plays out [or we know it's story, if it has one] the exact reason why we wanna replay it??); also, isn't a watching a trailer or a gameplay, or reading a synisposis or summary of the game a spoiler?!
I really loved this (YES EVEN THE GRUNTING!! if you don't like them , you didn't like BK and BT) . But i gotta admit that Except INEPT and Capital B , the bosses were much too easy!! DoubleChoc have you never played banjo and kazooie?
Michael Perri nah
Woow Awsome Video
If you care so much about being spoiled, THEN WHY ARE YOU HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?!
Gustavo Barría Chavarría BECAUSE TH-cam PUT IT IN MY RECOMMENDED FEED. DO YOU THINK I CHOSE TO HAVE EVERY BOSS SPOILED IN ONE CONVENIENT PICTURE RANDOMLY AMONG ALL THE OTHER VIDEOS AND THUMBNAILS?!
Nobody asked for the video to show up on their feed with a spoiling thumbnail
Gustavo Barría Chavarría In this case, I'll be honest, the thumbnail problem isn't too bad here. Sure it's revealing what the bosses look like, but not the battles themselves, which are a lot more interesting. I see why people would be annoyed by the bosses' appearance being shown, but it doesn't spoil everything about the boss.
PooDoo DrillDick and TeeJay I will repeat myself:
*WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE*.
Yooka and Laylee: *Literally destroying Capital B's kids*
10:34 That Banjo-Tooie reference!!!
Omg your so great at this game
I really loved this (YES EVEN THE GRUNTING!! if you don't like them , you didn't like BK and BT) . But i gotta admit that Except INEPT and Capital B , the bosses were much too easy!! (Compared to Banjo / Donkey kong 64 or even Conker!)
But this game was really cool (but I still have the Cashino Missing Pagie Glitch --" )
when the music of the first boss starts it sounds like the mid boss theme from
R&M.
great fucking job guys.
Okay, an Eyeball with tentacles with an Irish accent... its no coincidence they based this boss off Jacksepticeye
FatAngryGeek um…I think that's a british accent, on account of the eye saying "cor" no irish people say that, as much as I would have LOVED for it to be a Jacksepticeye reference, unfortunately that isn't the case 😿
I did not know that u made that show
