My friend Jimmy was a medic in Vietnam. He rode the choppers to bring the wounded back to base to get medical treatment. Or to be sent home in a coffin. He did three tours in Vietnam. The army wouldn't let him go back again. He said he couldn't stand to think of not being there to help the men get home. Somewhere along the way he ran in to agent orange. Jimmy married one of my best friends when we were in our twenties. They are still married. Jimmy is dying of stage four kidney cancer. He is still fighting it. That's one hell of an amen. Love watching you guys.
It gave my dad lymphoma! I hope Jimmy gives it hell! I know there are some great treatments out there, but I don't know where he's being seen. Cancer Treatment Center of America was AMAZING for my step-father.

There were 3 people in the military you didn’t screw with, the Doc, the supply Sgt and the mess SGT, those were the people you always had there back for different reasons.
Don’t ever touch “Doc” because you will have every Marine in the area on top of you. Doc’s gotten me into a few bar fights afterwards we have a beer and laugh about it. Doc came to our 30th anniversary party for the Marine Corps birthday because he is our brother.one fight was because he was drunk and calling other sailors calling them “squid” there’s a difference between a corpsman and AA FMF corpsman. I was a machine gunner and a field radio operator
I honestly think all docs have everyone behind them trying to save us gunfighters. I was once upon a time an infantry marine. Even in civilian life docdoc my buddy a navy corpsman literally made me remember their divinity

Yes combat medics are some hard ass mofos for sure, don’t know if you have ever seen the movie Hacksaw Ridge but it is based off a true story of a combat medic in WWII who was awarded the CMOH.

Guys should just for fun do a Marine Corps boot camp vs other branches for the Birthday this year.
