How to Create Passport Size Studio Photos in Photoshop [Free Action Included]

In this photoshop tutorial, i will show you how to create and make easy passport size studio photos at home quickly.
first open image in photoshop
i will record this tutorial photo shop action, so that i can use this effect on other photographs.
select all and copy the photo
now make a new document
set resolution, 35mm and 45mm with the passport size photo dimensions
paste the photo in the new document
resize and position your photo
flatten image
now set select all. contract the selection by 10 pixels
inverse the selection
make a new blank layer and fill with white color
now double click on the layer to open the layer options panel
add stroke layer style to the current layer.
flatten image
select all and copy the photo
now make a new document with the resolution as shown
paste the selection in the new document
move and align in order.
ctrl + v to paste, and move the layers as follows
we're done. lets stop the action recording.
now try this action on other photographs.
simply open an image in photoshop and play the action.

Did the action record, but after I tried to apply it to another photo it would be out of frame every single time after doing the free transform while on the stop. It's so frustrating, do you know how could it be fixed?

There are standalone tools like Face Crop Jet that allows you to do this in batch with very little effort.

I followed all the instructions for Nth time now but still, the cut/resized image is not working properly.

I must be missing something. I'm trying to print some passport pictures in the USA. Set the resolution at 51mm by 51mm on 5"x7" paper and the photos print out 17/8"x17/8", too small for USA Passport. Using Photoshop CC2017. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I had set the resolution at 300Px/In throughout the creation of all new documents. But in the last new document you create in the video, where it's stated "...new document with the resolution as shown ..." 3304 x 2124 300 px/in. What are these dimensions for? What should they be for 5"x7"? Today is the last day I have to work on this, so any further assistance you can provide would be most appreciated. Thanks again.
try 2100 x 1500 pixels for 5x7" sheet for Printing. once u prepared your passport size of 51mm x 51mm. select all and copy, then paste it in 5x7" sheet for Printing. [align the copied photos]

This is completely wrong and violates several of the rules about these photos. Namely that the subject must be evenly lit. The dark shadows from the light source across his face will get this rejected outright. Also the resolution is incorrect. this needs to go away.
