I’m convinced this boss fight was an AI test for them. You had the monkeys riding both new dinos and using them to attack, which may be a feature in Ark 2. So this was there test to see how it would work and how players would interact

Remember, wildcard had nothing to do with this. It was modders who built this map and the mechanics.
@@lucky1time811 except they didn’t design the boss fight with the new dinos. They entirety of the boss fight utilizes only the new dinos so it’s Definetly designed by wildcard
@@internetghost5912 I’m fairly certain the Dino’s were designed by modders as well, ragnarok and the griffins/ice wyverns were also modders which inspired the snow owl. Not saying wildcard is bad, but don’t take the respect from the modders. Modders also are the reason for double doors, hatchframes, multiple types of foundations/walls, dedicated storage, list goes on.

idk if anyones already said this, but technically since the megapithicus doesnt have a tail, it's technically a primeape meaning this is the first monkey boss in Ark.

Megapithecus was always too easy. Even the Broodmother was harder.
Would be cool if you can make them ride your own dinos too into battle for you as well and able to still throw stuff and attack with the dino at the same time. But yeah I feel bad about talking crap about those baboons, now they are pretty cool. I think I love sinamocrops the most! I'm going to play on this map asap!
Even if you got the taxidermy the boss def is using components so it would probs just be a normal dinopithecus

I really like that this boss fight doesn't have a time, like the previous boss fights in Ark Survival Evolved.

My biggest problem with ark is the wasted potential. The taxidermy stuff is a perfect example. Not game breaking, but fixing the little flaws wpuld make the game so much more enjoyable.
Yeah. What I'm hoping is that they stopped fixing them because there was too much, so they just kept it in mind towards ARK2. Cause you can kinda see the downfall of ark as time went by. It started off very well and kept getting better until Extinction hit, which is when it started rolling downhill. And they just kinda stopped caring as well. A perfect example would be a lot of game-breaking bugs and 'features' in genesis 1 (a soon to be 2 year old map). As I said, I hope they fix it with ARK2, otherwise both games will die out a few months after ark2 gets released.
