This is wrong. You can buy overseas property even if you stay in HDB, just need to first fulfill the 5 year MOP. There are so many Singaporeans buying properties in JB the past few months. But if you own a property in JB, I think you cannot buy HDB.

我朋友说新加坡 拥有HDB房产，法律是有规定是不能买外国产业的，一旦被查到就要在一两个月里卖掉，看你要留新还是马的。所以只有没有新加坡HDB的要买才行哦。博主你要查清楚 HDB条规哦。
