@GG Allin she definitely did NOT say crack. Wtf, go and embarass yourself elsewhere.
When they said, “exactly my type on paper”, and “proper fit”, I knew they did their research👏👏👏

“Is this a hate crime?” 😂😂😂
I think it is a hate crime with the Super Posh upper class Phoebe Waller-Bridge ridiculing the British working class lol. What is a bigger thing to ridicule? Love Island or her show Fleabag that represents London the most diverse city n the world as a city full of only posh white people?
@@Delboy0 It doesn't at all, Feabag's family is middle class, while her sister's means come from her job and she does try to appear smart through attitude, often failing. None of her boyfriends seem to come from a particularly affluent background, you can tell from details in the story and by the way they talk. Boo very obviously didn't. You can make a case the lack of ethnic diversity, I'll give you that.
About Waller-Bridge herself, I could't say, having gentry in her ancestry is not an indicator, but her parents do appear comfortable from their bios and she has had a somewhat privileged education, so it may be the case.
Which is irrelevant to the show.
Regarding this sketch, I wouldn't say they are ridiculing working class people, rather more a programme which hands picks them for viewers' amusement, turning them into circus animals. The bit looks more like an extract (had to google that reality: I've never watched it) than a parody.
@@siracastori01 Everyone in that fleabag show speaks with a standard English accent, which only upper middle class English people do. So that denotes they are all upper middle class background characters.
The show is completely not diverse because the show is set in London a city that is 50% non-white, yet the show represents London as completely white. It makes Friends look like Def Comedy Jam in comparison.
The show has everything to do with her background because who thinks London and thinks posh white people? Unless you are posh white person with no close friends who aren't posh and white.
@@Delboy0 I speak with a standard English accent, I used to speak with smart one as a girl because of my schooling, and I have 210 pounds in my account. I can't buy a fridge, I literally cool my beer and soda cans in the tub. This is the same manner of speaking of most my not so rich friends as well, even older ones who are finished with their education and who are not working class but surely not upper class. I'm a leftist, hardcore one, but you're pretending there's no middle class people in London and that they don't use a standard accent, which denotes that you're either lying or have never been outside. Or maybe everyone started speaking with a scouse accent since I left as a boutade, that'd be marvellous.
I agree with you that the show could have been more racially diverse, since I believe it features only one character of colour.
@@siracastori01 Being upper middle class is not about how much money you have now and more about your upbringing. I doubt you grew up in a working class part of the UK speaking with a standard accent. Yes you have all classes of people in London, but the vast majority of people in London are working class and people of colour and the problem with British entertainment is the upper class and upper middle class people are over represented mainly because the TV executives and and commissioners tend to be from these groups and make all TV about their class.
Love Island is the most racially and class diverse show on British mainstream TV so it comes across as extremely snobby that super posh Waller-Bridge looking down on the show, which is more representative of real Britain than her posh fantasy London
